The founder of Zhuji Pastry & Porridge, Zhu Lian He, established the renowned restaurant on Jianguo South Road in 1973. Since its opening, the restaurant has gained popularity. After 15 years of running the restaurant, Mr. Zhu decided to pass on the business to his friend, whom he had met during their time in the army, Yang Jin Yong. Since taking over Zhuji Pastry & Porridge, Mr. Yang has dedicated himself to running the restaurant with the utmost authenticity and hospitality, making it a go-to destination for northern-style pastries and noodles.
