Very interesting place if you are interested in Japanese history. it is a little bit far out and you have to plan ahead for traveling. Quite a lot of walking is required in open space and can get quite hot on a sunny day. Do check the weather and dress accordingly before you go

Arriving at Meiji Village was just in time for viewing the autumn leaves, and the maple leaves here were a fiery red. Although the weather wasn't great, it gave Meiji Village a different kind of beauty, with a touch of poignant beauty. Along the way, you can see buildings from different eras, a must-see for those who like architecture.

The atmosphere in the village is wonderful. The shuttle bus drivers are very friendly and provide commentary during the tour. The architecture is also impressive, and the collaborative activities are very interesting. Although the location is a bit far, it's definitely worth it. I'd love to visit again if I have the chance.

It was a great experience. The roads in the village are wide, and you can take a shuttle bus. The driver also provides a simple tour, and a one-day bus pass costs 500 yen.

Convenient transportation! The station is very close! You arrive as soon as you get off the vehicle! Services are very frequent! The park is large! It's best to plan for a full day trip.

The heat was unbearable. No matter how wonderful the park was, every experience was significantly diminished, especially when visiting with children. We absolutely had to buy tickets for the park shuttle at every point-to-point transfer; otherwise, walking even an inch in the scorching heat would have been impossible. And then to have the patience to slowly tour everything? It truly tested our limits.
To get back to the main point, I suggest that if the outdoor temperature exceeds 95°F (35°C), the park should offer a free shuttle service. This would allow everyone to experience the history of the Meiji period and learn more about Japanese culture. We hadn't walked for long before we had to duck into a restaurant to rest. Afterward, we still hadn't covered even a third of the park before we switched to the shuttle. Ultimately, it was still too hot and we were drenched in sweat. As a result, we left before seeing even half of the park, which was a real shame.
