Kaniya in Sapporo - Crab Dish Specialist

After the Biei tour, I got off near the Susukino Nika intersection and easily found it and went in. I arrived about 20 minutes earlier than my reservation time, but it was nice that I could go in right away just by saying my name on the first floor. The atmosphere was quiet and warm, and the food was neat and delicious. I ate the 9-course meal, which was a small amount, because I was going to go to an izakaya after eating, but I want to try more food next time.

The CP value is much worse than Osaka Crab Doraku! I was very confused when I ordered it. Why was there no menu on the Klook page? However, in order to avoid lack of seats during the Chinese New Year, I still ordered from Klook! As a result, the restaurant was not full at noon on February 1, 2025. I was really taken advantage of. The menu on site was obviously much cheaper! The point is that I have no idea what dishes are included in Klook’s set meal. What a farce!

The food tasted very good. However, they seem to put all the tourists in the same floor and didn't ask some very loud guests to quiet down

Food quality is very good! I was very full and the crab meat was very fresh. However, the person who served us was a foreigner, which seemed a bit strange. The environment should have been nice, but the clerk arranged for us to sit in a corner, so we couldn't feel the beauty of the environment. Finally, when we left, the clerk even forgot where to put our shoes. The overall service seems to be a little worse than a few years ago.

Wanted to try something different and chance upon this via Klook. Decided to give it a try and it doesn't disappoint. Food was great and ambience was really fantastic with the zen vibes while dining in!

A great dining experience, and the restaurant decoration is also great~ The waiters are friendly and professional, I feel very comfortable and comfortable while dining~! It's just a little too expensive. This meal costs nearly 4,000. Because I also ordered a 2,000 meal to compare with each other, I feel that the difference is not big, and it doesn't feel like the difference is as high as 2,000~

We were welcomed and expected at the restaurant on the reserved day. Our low dining table includes a sunken part to place the feet, so we wouldn't feel uncomfortable sitting with our legs crossed for the entire course. We were served a total of 9 dishes in the course, but I only managed to snap pictures of a few haha, we were too eager to eat. Drinks ordered will incur additional costs. It was an enjoyable dinner, but my least favorite dish was the sushi. I guess my expectations were too high.

The crabs here are very fresh. This is the first time I have eaten sashimi crabs. They are very sweet and have no peculiar smell. The dining environment is great. The soup at the end will be used to make soup. It is worth eating in Japan.
