I experienced this as a family of three with a child. After worrying about the high prices locally, I found a low price on Clock and made a reservation. I left my accommodation early that day, took the address on Google Maps, and left~ But for some reason, the address of the meeting place was different!!! I had a morning reservation, but I couldn't find it so I was wandering around for a while. 😭 Just then, I got a call from the place I had made a reservation and the host personally came to pick me up. To be honest, a lot of time had passed and I had no idea where I was, so I was hesitating to give up and go somewhere else, but thankfully, he came to visit us. Such luck... And, since it was just my family at the experience center, we were able to see the elephants comfortably. We fed them two bananas in a large basket, took them for a short walk together, and gave them a bath. I never imagined such a vivid viewing and experience. . I saw a simple elephant prank and most of all, thanks to the friendly host and staff, I soon forgot about the fatigue I felt in the morning. For those of us who didn't have any flashy or high expectations, we were satisfied with the process because it was a comfortable process. Lastly, the program ends with making unexpected Thai food! The luck of being able to make and eat Som Tam and Pad Thai stir-fried noodles gave me an unexpected joy. This program felt like it was just for our family, so it was extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Before going, 1. It is essential to confirm the correct meeting address. (The address listed on Clock does not work even on Google Maps. 😂) 2. Because it is in the mountains, there are bugs, so long pants and long sleeves are a must.
amazing, we opt to drive by ourselves so we followed the location provided by the guide and reached on time, we were briefed on the location and what to expect and given a change if clothes, then started to wash the elephant baby and mother then take them for a walk while the guide talked to us about the elephants backgstory, the sanctuary is a great safe space for these elephants and they aim to protect more from forced labour and tourism exploitation, then we fed the elephants and went to wash to prepare for a cooking class and a meal . highly recommend
it was very convenient especially if you are traveling with old family member and the tourist guide were very friendly to everyone.
It’s a good experience. You can feed the elephants food, walk in the forest with them, and if you are not afraid of dirt, you can also take a mud bath with them.
Seriously awesome👏🏻👏🏻I love this event! It's a pity that the walking route here is not in the woods, so it will be very hot and full of mosquitoes! I suggest you buy the anti-mosquito liquid recommended in Thailand and spray it thoroughly 😭 otherwise you will really get bitten on your legs.
