Reviews
The driver and customer service will contact me via line the day before and confirm the order, license plate number, and pick-up and drop-off location. The driver is very considerate and will ask if he wants to help take photos, where to eat, and if he needs to use the restroom. He also responds to messages in a timely manner. Be quick. Although I don’t speak much English, the people are very friendly. They try to help us catch the bus and add a little more time to the Falls National Park. Because it rains from time to time, we walked to the fourth level of the waterfall today and walked slowly back and forth. It took a total of one hour. Only the first, second and fourth floors have waterfalls to see and go into. There are no waterfalls on the other floors. I think it’s just right to walk on the fourth floor and then play with the water for 40-50 minutes. The driver will allow a total of three hours. We stayed so it was very enough. If you want to go into the water, remember to rent a life jacket as soon as you see it at the entrance. Otherwise, if you miss it, you won’t be renting it later. You can bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes. I think wearing a life jacket with good grip Sandals are the best way, and it's best to bring a waterproof bag so that it doesn't get dirty when you put it on the rocks. There are three toilets and showers here. There is nothing to hang, and there is no hair dryer. Just rinse it off and it will work. For those of you who care, please pay more attention. If possible, I think it would be better to avoid the rainy season or when it rains. This experience was great!
This was my second trip to Kanchanaburi. This time, because I was traveling with my parents, I opted for a private car hire and Route C. The Honda Accord served the three of us, so it was spacious and comfortable. Although the driver only spoke basic English, which was a slight limitation in his tour guidance, he was very friendly and helpful throughout the trip, which was very appreciated. Furthermore, we were allowed to decide how much time to spend at each stop, and even at the final stop on the River Kwai Bridge, he didn't rush us, allowing us to enjoy the scenery at our own pace. Highly recommended! Thank you, driver Mr. Phongsan!
Was picked up at 7.30am at hotel lobby by driver Bill. Private tour for just the two of us. Car was clean, spacious and comfortable. - 9.30-10am tiger cave temple: bill walked up stairs to the temple with us and helped us take some photos. He also briefly told us some history about the monk and temple. View from up there was good, overlooking the paddy fields. - 1015-1115 meena cafe: very nice views of the paddy fields. fried rice (70+baht?) was not bad, padthai (90baht) could be better. - 1245-4.15pm erawan waterfall: highlight of the tour, worth going! We had ample time to swim in the waterfalls. Watched YouTube video of the place before going and found it not worth to spend 1.5h hiking up to lvl 7 falls. Level 2 and 3 were the prettiest so we swam in both. There are toilets and an outdoor shower, so bring towel and change of clothes. - 5.15-5.30 river Kwai bridge: according to the tour itinerary we were allowed more time here but we left quite soon after as we wanted to head back to bkk earlier. well-timed as we saw the train pass by! close to sunset timing which makes for good photos. Bill offered to help us take photos. - 8pm back in bkk: requested driver in advance to drop us off at jodd fairs night market. Overall, Bill only served as a guide at the temple. Subsequently he was more just a driver and did not provide us much information of the locations. Booking this tour may not guarantee him as the driver (unless indicated in the comments) as there are other drivers in the company that might be assigned to you.
Kanchanaburi is really worth planning a trip to. We were a group of two, and the tour guide was very friendly and helpful with taking photos. If you like a place, you can spend more time there and truly relax. The view of Wat Tham Sua from Mina Cafe is beautiful, and the drinks are delicious. The scenery on the Death Railway is amazing, and the Bridge over the River Kwai is also worth a walk. The Bridge over the River Kwai from geography class really made an impression on me when I visited it in person 👍
We had a great time with the Kanchanaburi multiple route private tour booked through Klook. The itinerary was exceptional, well planned, and we were fully informed throughout the booking process. A special thanks to Ton, our tour guide and driver for the day. He was amazing—although he had some difficulty communicating in English, we were truly impressed by his effort to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying the tour. He arrived early at our hotel, drove carefully, and ensured we returned safely. Bonus points for Ton’s photography skills—he took great photos for us and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, his service was exceptional, and we would definitely request him again for our next tour. Thank you, Klook and Ton, for the wonderful experience.
The Erawan National Park waterfall is definitely worth a visit! Every step is a different scene, with different layers. The murals in the Tiger Cave Temple tell the history of Thailand, but the temple itself is slightly inferior to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Mina Cafe is a very nice viewpoint. The River Kwai Bridge is a bit ordinary. (All five stars are for the Erawan Waterfall) I would especially like to thank our guide - Mr. Coconut. He speaks English, and our communication was generally smooth. He is very enthusiastic, very friendly, and very polite. He took many pictures for us along the way. He took us around like a local friend! All in all, I highly recommend this trip, just go for it!
We had such a great time on our Kanchanaburi private tour. Our guide was incredibly punctual—he even arrived early at our hotel, which was a nice surprise. He was very kind, helpful, and spoke really good English, so everything felt easy and comfortable throughout the trip. One of the highlights for us was the fish spa. We honestly didn’t expect it to be a hot spring onsen-style treat, and it turned out to be such a relaxing and fun experience! Our guide also took the initiative to snap photos of us and always gave us enough time to explore each spot without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable day. Definitely recommending this tour!
our guide and driver mr cat was good, even though he didnt speak much english, he used translation apps to let us know about the histroy about the places we visited as well as to answer our questions. all the locations we visited were very interesting and the lunch at meena cafe was a lot better than what i anticipated. would recommend this package for people looking to experience the death railway.
Our guide, Mr. Tamm, was so kind and friendly!! I get really bad motion sickness, but I barely felt sick with his driving!! My mother even complimented him, calling him the best driver! Haha. He seemed genuinely enthusiastic about taking photos, always wanting to capture us in beautiful spots. Even when we were late exploring, he always waited for us, and we really appreciated him using a translator to communicate with us!! The tour was amazing!! The cafe was absolutely beautiful, and although we couldn't see levels 6-7 of Erawan National Park due to the closing time, it was such a stunning place!! It was the perfect tour, efficiently showing us all the places we wanted to visit!!
overall experience during the tour is great. our driver pick us at the hotel ontime, he speaks inly thai and sometimes hard to communicate but its ok. tiger cave some of the temple here is under conatruction but the view is refreshing with greenlands, we have lunch at Meena Cafe, the coconut coffee mus try, food is reasonable you can order a pad thai for only 90THB with the view of greenfielda with overlooking of Wat Tham Suea temple. I did conquer the 5thfalls of erawan national park but of course my 2 friend conquered the 7th falls 😆😊 it was a great adventure to reconnect with nature, the park it self has a camping site. river khwae bridge this one i was not appreciate typical old bridge with old tram but happy to see the old train passby😊. what important is we did enjoy this trip with friends . Pls add Kanchanaburi on your next trip💕 3 hour away from bangkok.
