Snorkeling Experience at Nusa Dua Bali

Great experience for the price. Plenty of options to choose from at base, should you wish to add to your snorkeling experience. Water clarity was okay and can be a bit choppy. All round slot of fun, holding a starfish was a plus!

It was a great activity, the guide Jaya was attentive and I had fun. I borrowed the snorkeling gear which includes the goggles, breathing tube and also flippers. The breathing tube had the top closed with gaps at the side and is not completely open, so it was a bit hard to clear the tube of seawater but I got used to it. I didn't like that they brought bread to feed fish, and also did not like that the guide picked up sea creatures to show me. I would have preferred we leave them alone and for him to just point them out, because it's not very environmentally friendly... Because it was only one hour, we didn't go to the deeper side, so the view was mostly seagrass and one or two small artificial reefs, with groups of fish and some corals. I saw a clownfish, groups of other tropical fish, some sea stars and a sea cucumber. If you can dive down to get a closer look at the corals, I recommend it. I went at 8am, the visibility was ok because it was not yet sunny, but there were fewer people around. Near the floating seagrass the visibility was poor, but diving below them helps to see clearer. I could feel some current in the sea but it was mild. Water was a bit cold but I got used to it.

if you staying in Nusa Dua, this place very close and reasonably priced. it was great for young children, my son 6 years old and daughter 10 years old were very much enjoyed.

The snorkelling centre is located in Tanjung Benoa beach, which is 12 min drive from my hotel in Nusa Dua. The centre is clean and tidy with licker, shower and changing room. The beach is very busy with many people engaging in all kinds of water activities but we did snorkelling only. We have 2 of us so the guide can take care us well in the sea which is good with the quite strong wave. Our guide can speak English. There is only seagrass under water and no corals but quite many fishes. We went on a very sunny day and the sea is quite clear. We pay for photo taking and it is great to have beautiful photos and video clips done in 20min.. A good experience if you dont have much time and want to try snorkelling.

This is a great itinerary for a light snorkeling experience with children. They picked us up at our accommodation and even provided fish food, which helped us create wonderful memories for the kids. I've forgotten the name of our local guide, but they were incredibly kind and helpful. It rained every day during our stay, so the visibility was a bit cloudy, but they still led us to a spot with many beautiful fish, and we had a great time. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a snorkeling experience with your children.

We had a fantastic time snorkeling in August 2023. We were equipped with life jackets, fins and snorkels and had a guide with us at all times. The coral reefs and fish were super beautiful to look at and the hour is plenty of time to be able to take it all in. Would always recommend this magical experience to swim with tropical fish. Consider bringing a gopro, if you have one :) Afterwards we got a warm shower, which was lovely

I was worried whether it would be a satisfactory experience during the rainy season in January, but I had a delightful experience. The water is a little murky, so you can't see very far. However, we saw Nemo and Dory. Our children loved it. The guide was also very kind.

I got close to my destination and got lost, but they picked me up right away. I booked snorkeling for an hour and I think I was in the water for over an hour, but they didn't notice and just waited for me. I booked only snorkeling, but I could have added banana boats or other things on the day if I wanted, but they didn't force me. I was very satisfied and had fun.
