Don't hesitate to book this tour from Calamian Islands Travel and Tour. It's worth it! They picked us up from the hotel on time. If you want to experience a safari in Coron, this is it. Make sure to bring water because we had to walk since Calauit Safari's tour truck was broken, and the weather was quite hot. But thankfully, our tour guides provided umbrellas. Black Island is beautiful; it has a cave, and the water at the beach is very clear. This tour is a great combination. The food served at Bernat's was also delicious.
Book this tour! It’s worth it. Calauit Safari highlight was zebra and giraffe. Their truck was under maintenance so just walked around 300 meters, good thing Kuya Rico was prepared with umbrellas. Our tour guide, Kuya Rico, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Lunch was superb, we had crabs. We left early to enjoy Black Island longer (around 2 hours). We decided not to explore the cave but it’s a good reason to come back.
We had an overall wonderful experience on the Coron Calauit Safari and Black Island Tour! The highlight was definitely visiting Calauit Safari, where we got to see incredible wildlife up close, including giraffes and zebras — truly a unique experience! Black Island was another gem, with its stunning beach, crystal-clear waters, and the fascinating caves that we explored. The snorkeling here was amazing, and the scenery was out of this world. However, we did experience a slight hiccup with the bus breaking down, which delayed the trip a bit. While it was an unfortunate event, the tour team handled the situation well, kept us informed, and ensured that we still had a fantastic day once everything was back on track. Despite the delay, we had a great time and would still highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience Coron’s wildlife and beautiful islands. The sights are absolutely worth it!
This trip was on the other side of Busuanga, so it required a longer travel time. However, the transfer vehicles and boat arrangements were excellent, and the journey itself was very comfortable. The Safari Wildlife Park offered a wonderful experience, allowing close encounters with giraffes and zebras! The guides were great at facilitating interaction. In the afternoon, we headed to Black Island, which was also quite a distance from the port, but the island scenery was fantastic, and there was a beautiful cave. We enjoyed a leisurely afternoon on the beach!
We had a great experience on this tour on 13th March. The guide was friendly and helpful, and the tour bus conveniently picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The Calauit Safari was a highlight. we loved the interaction with the giraffes and zebras. Lunch was enjoyable, and Black Island beach was beautiful. The tour was well organised and planned. Overall, a very enjoyable day and we would recommend this tour to other travellers.
We had an incredible time on the Caluit Safari Tour, and it was made even more memorable by our amazing guide! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a unique experience, but our guide truly went above and beyond in making it unforgettable. Not only did they provide us with fascinating insights about the wildlife and the island, but they also took the time to capture incredible photos with the giraffes, ensuring we had lasting memories of our encounter with these magnificent animals. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made the tour feel personal and special. If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience, this tour is an absolute must!
I originally booked the island-hopping tour for my last day in Coron, but my friends managed to convince me to book this tour instead. I did not regret making that decision. It was such a memorable tour, and I recommend it after being exhausted from the super-ultimate tour and the half-day tour. Going to Safari Park, we had to travel via land for 1.5 hours and via sea for 5 minutes. We fed the giraffes and took pictures with the zebras, deer, and other animals in the mini zoo, such as the turtle, snake, crocodile, monkey, and civet cat. I felt like a kid again and enjoyed listening about these animals from the caretaker. Afterwards, we had lunch in the fish pond restaurant. Then we traveled by boat for 45 minutes (?) to Black Island. The water was so crystal clear, and the sand was so white and fine despite the black rock formations on that island. We also explored the cave, which was interesting.
I love Kuya Rico, he’s so knowledgeable about the places we go to. He even accompanied me snorkeling at the Black Island. He took me to the best spots. Kuya Rico is such a gentle and patient guide. 10/10.
Our Calauit Safari and Black Island tour was truly unforgettable! At Calauit Safari, we had an amazing time feeding the friendly giraffes—it was such a unique and fun experience. Then we headed to Black Island, which was absolutely stunning. We were the only ones there, so it felt like we had the entire island to ourselves. The peaceful atmosphere, crystal-clear waters, and beautiful scenery made it a perfect getaway. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Coron!
Unforgettable experience, indeed! Very convenient as there is a van that will pick you up at your hotel. It will be a long ride from Coron Town to Calauit, but the travel is worth it since the destinations are the best. Also, the boat going to the Black Island is around 1 hour and expect big waves during the travel. But no worries since the boat is safe to go that far. Black Island is underrated! Nice beach to stay, wish we could stay longer there. There is a cave in the island where you can visit as well. What could be improve is the lunch as it is limited. But overall, it's a nice experience and recommended.
