Review for: Kaiseki Lunch Course with Reservation

The face of the door was very low-key, hidden deep in the alley near Ninaka. Because it is my first experience of kaiseki cuisine, there is no contrast, but I still feel the charm of exquisite cuisine.

The food is delicious, although it is a bit difficult to find. It is recommended to use Uber to take a taxi. I also found this meal for a while

The service attitude is very good and the ingredients are also very good, but the price does not seem to be worth it.

Kyo Kaiseki KINMATA (近又) in Kyoto

Established in 1801, the first generation was from Omiya, and was called Omiya Matabachi. At first, he opened "Omiya" on the hexagonal string in Kazutani-cho. At that time, it was the usual place for drug dealers in Omiya. The two-story wooden building, the entrance made of red shells, the bamboo garden, and the cypress bath with an umbrella-shaped ceiling are typical of Kyoto townhouses for more than 200 years. It is still open for business as usual.
