I didn't know where to look, sometimes I didn't know where to go or where to be. I briefly lost my wallet, and the staff were so kind as to take us back to the lockers, where it thankfully was, and then allowed us to return. So the staff aren't just there to point out the rules. I'm going back to Tokyo again.
It was so nice! The exhibitions were beautiful and staff were very sweet! I went at the 6pm timeslot and left when they closed at 9pm. It’s very easy to spend 3+ hours here so I’d definitely recommend coming 6:30 and before. there wasn’t any lines or wait times but I also went on a Weekday so maybe thats why.
Amazing experience at this exhibition, very interactive and some segments and I had a very enjoyable and fun experience! Love the drawing part cos you can just create anything that fits the animal template that is given to you! Recommended to go on the morning slots on weekdays as you will have to queue up for quite awhile if you were to go from afternoon onwards.
Ease of booking with Klook: It was easy to book, and even though I purchased tickets for two people, we were able to enter through the gate designated for two.Facility: I believe it was about a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station. It was relatively easy to find, and when we seemed to be having trouble locating the entrance, a staff member outside the building offered to guide us. Inside the facility, there was a free space to store luggage and many lockers available. According to a staff member, many visitors spend about 3 to 4 hours enjoying the facility. We were limited on time, so we only stayed for about 2 and a half hours, but I wished we could have enjoyed it a bit longer.Price: Since it was peak season, the price was a bit high, but it was a satisfactory amount.
TeamLab Kyoto is a magnificent exhibition and a must-see when visiting Kyoto. We had so much fun. What bothered us was that visitors did not follow the instructions. They touched the installations, shouted loudly, ran around, etc. That disturbed us. We would appreciate it if it were possible to book special times when children are not allowed entry, or if fewer visitors were admitted. Something like a VIP entry two hours before official opening.
This place is amazing. The visual displays are phenomenal and I loved that there were so many interactive exhibits. We spent 3 hours there and could have stayed longer. Not sure how if compares to the others but this was amazing. Would definitely recommend, especially for children as it has so many areas for them to explore.
The teamLab Biovortex experience was absolutely incredible and one of the most impressive attractions I’ve visited. The digital art installations are immersive, creative, and constantly changing, making every room feel unique and surprising. What makes the experience special is how interactive it is—you don’t just look at the art, you become part of it. The combination of lights, movement, colors, and sound creates a truly unforgettable atmosphere. It’s a place that feels futuristic, artistic, and fun at the same time. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Team labs. We've previously visited Borderless and found that afew exhibit are the same. Although we have previously visited a team lab, we were still pleasantly suprised and easier to navigate without missing out.
