Osaka Premium Sumo Training & Match with Former Rikishi

During this approximately 70-minute small-group program, practice shiko, matawari, tachiai, butsukari-geiko, basic techniques, and traditional sumo etiquette such as sonkyo, chiri-chozu, bowing, and match procedures. After training, every participant will challenge a former professional rikishi in a sumo match. Participants do not wrestle against each other. The experience is held on a specially designed full-size mat-based dohyō and is limited to 15 participants. Family and friends can join as spectators for ¥3,500, including a drink and popcorn. Children aged 12 and under attend free. Spectators may also have the chance to participate as a gyoji or yobidashi. Suitable for first-time visitors and guests who have already watched or experienced sumo elsewhere.
