Review for: Bangkok Ayutthaya Full-Day Tour with Tuk-Tuk & Cafe

We have no expectations with the tour but our tour guide Toto went above and beyond in handling the itinerary. She is very informative and knowledgeable with the important details of Ayutthaya from history down to shopping. We were able to experience the train ride going to Ayutthaya and rode Ayutthaya’s version of Tuktuk within the city. Our highlight of the trip was the feeding and interaction with the elephant. We recommend this tour to everyone!

This Ayutthaya full day tour starts with riding the Bangkok Connex using a Japanese Kiha train from Krung Thep Aphiwat station in Bangkok going to Ayutthaya train station. Guide Dylan was exceptional and was able to explain and share facts and information about the former capital city. We were able to explore the city using a tuktuk conveniently waiting at the train station.

The Japanese-speaking guide was very kind and helpful, which made me feel at ease participating in the tour, even though I was traveling alone. When I joined, the temple entrance fees (totaling 260 baht) and meal costs (around 400 baht) were mandatory. Elephant riding (300 baht) and the floating market (I believe 200 baht) were optional but required payment if you wished to participate, so it's reassuring to carry extra cash. Tips were not necessary for anything except the elephant ride. It was great to visit the temples efficiently. The tour included transportation by train on the way there and by car on the way back.

Review for: Bangkok Ayutthaya Full-Day Tour with Tuk-Tuk & Cafe

I'm Japanese. This is an Ayutthaya historical park tour. We met at Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, bought gapao rice at the station, took the national train, and enjoyed the changing scenery and gapao rice on our way to Ayutthaya. This was something I'd wanted to do after watching Saya Ichikawa's video on Expedia, and it came true. From Ayutthaya, we toured the ruins by tuk-tuk, which I'd been looking forward to. Riding in the back, the wind on my skin, the surprisingly fast speed, and the changing scenery were all so much fun. Above all, the Ayutthaya ruins were more mystical and wonderful than I had imagined, making it a truly memorable experience in my life. What's more, our guide, Mr. Lee, spoke excellent Japanese, was fun to talk to, taught us about the ruins in detail, and took many photos for us. Initially, I considered exploring Ayutthaya alone, but after actually going, I felt it would be almost impossible without a tour, and much more enjoyable with a guide. There were many Ayutthaya tours available, but I think Mr. Lee's tour, which includes riding the national train and a tuk-tuk, is the best. It was a truly enjoyable trip, and I'm so grateful to Mr. Lee. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any Japanese person interested in Ayutthaya.

Our guide, Toto, had a wonderful personality. He was always smiling and made an effort to keep everyone entertained, which made the tour very enjoyable. The tour itself was also excellent; it didn't just cover the main historical sites, but also included souvenir shops, tuk-tuk rides, and an optional elephant riding experience for those interested. Taking the train to Ayutthaya was also a great experience.

This was a unique tour to Ayutthaya by train, as most people usually go by bus. Above all, our tour guide, Toto, was bright and kind, making for a very fulfilling time. Toto also speaks Japanese, which greatly deepened our understanding of the history of the famous sites we visited. Thank you, Toto!

We went to Ayutthaya by State Railway of Thailand and traveled around in a cute frog-faced tuk-tuk. The tour visiting Ayutthaya's representative historical sites was amazing! And our Japanese guide's kind consideration and fun humor made the Ayutthaya tour even more wonderful. Thank you very much!

Wonderful tour. Chopin was a really great guide and made sure the whole day ran smoothly, and efficiently. Her english was great and she was informative. She was happy to converse and answer any questions we had. Great to see so many temples in one day with all the transport taken care off. tuk tuk was a fun first experience.
