Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three scenic views, is one of Kansai's most representative spectacular sights. The most classic way to appreciate it is by viewing the pine groves upside down—bending over at Kasamatsu Park or Amanohashidate View Land and looking backward through your legs at the sandbar. The Amanohashidate before your eyes will transform into a giant dragon flying through the sky, which is why it is also known as "Hiryukan" (Flying Dragon View) or "Shoryukan" (Rising Dragon View). Cable car tickets are at your own expense (1,000 yen / general pass). *Due to View Land being closed for maintenance from 2026/12/15 to 2026/12/17, you can only choose to visit Kasamatsu Park.

Chion-ji Temple, located at the entrance of Amanohashidate, is one of Japan's three great Monju temples. Since ancient times, it has been a revered place of worship for students praying for success in examinations. The temple's Tahoto Pagoda, built during the Muromachi period, is a designated cultural property of Kyoto Prefecture, and its rustic and solemn architectural style is worth savoring. The revolving bridge is also quite unique; whenever a boat passes through the canal, the bridge slowly rotates to allow passage, making it a rare sight. Chion-ji Temple is close to the Amanohashidate sightseeing boat pier, making it an excellent starting point for a trip to Amanohashidate. With ancient trees towering within its grounds, one can feel the tranquil and solemn atmosphere of the temple throughout all four seasons.

Ine Funaya: A traditional fishing village located at the northernmost tip of Kyoto Prefecture, on the Tango Peninsula. Approximately 230 unique "funaya" (boat houses) are lined up along the calm Ine Bay, creating a breathtaking sight. The first floor serves as a boathouse for fishing boats, while the second floor is living space. This "cohabitation of people and boats" lifestyle is unique to Japan, and Ine Funaya has been designated as a National Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District. Taking an Ine Bay sightseeing boat and looking up at the funaya from the sea is the best way to experience the dreamlike scenery of this fishing village "floating on the sea." Ine Bay boat tour tickets must be purchased separately (1,200 JPY).

Me and my family had a wonderful time! Mr.Liu was great! He drove us to all the specified stops. Communication wasnt a problem either as he spoke english very well. This was the best option given we were travelling with younger children. extremely convenient and very clean car. As this was a private tour we were able to start a little late at 9am compared to most group tours starts around 7am.
Great experience, the driver was very steady.
