The tour was organized well and there was good communication so that we know what to do before, during and after. the guide spoke english. Bus was comfortable and driver is good. All expectations were managed properly. and of course the fireworks was spectacular.
The Nagaoka Fireworks Festival is definitely worth seeing! Although the price is a bit high, it was my first time feeling so awestruck and moved by fireworks. The seating area, which consists of folding chairs on the grass, tends to have more mosquitoes and insects. Our tour guide provided mosquito patches and spray, so we didn't get bitten.
The meeting point was very clear, and all questions before purchasing were answered thoughtfully. Our tour guide, Akiko Takahashi, was also very enthusiastic in introducing the surrounding environment and the history of the fireworks festival. Although we unfortunately encountered a traffic accident and congestion when leaving, the driver skillfully avoided the jammed roads and made up for as much lost time as possible. This tour is highly recommended for those who want to experience a fireworks festival for the first time and prefer to stay in Tokyo, as it helps avoid long drives or the problem of not being able to get a seat on the Shinkansen.
Although the price was not cheap, the location and arrangements were truly excellent. I highly recommend this service for anyone attending the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival for the first time. It guarantees a seat in a prime location, along with transportation arrangements. Our seats were in the center of the main viewing area, and they were actual chairs, so we didn't have to worry about sitting on the hard ground. We were able to take some fantastic photos. It's a shame the weather wasn't perfect that day; the Sanjakudama fireworks were obscured by clouds!
I decided to go at the last minute, and there were no tickets left. Luckily, Klook offered a tour package that included round-trip transportation and tickets.
