Using Klook is a hit or miss experience. While Klook assigns the tour operator for your booked trip, it seems that you often don't get a good one. I find this very unpleasant, as it suggests Klook isn't managing things properly. Despite charging higher prices compared to other travel agencies, the service is often unsatisfactory. This trip was no exception; I paid a high price and had high expectations, but it turned out to be the worst trip ever. I feel betrayed by Klook, as they seem to only care about profit and not about proper management. The issues below highlight the problems: - I requested a guide who spoke English, but only a driver who spoke English arrived. Consequently, once we reached our destinations, we had to explore on our own, and there was no introduction to the sites, forcing us to research everything ourselves. - For a 2-day, 1-night trip with 6 people, a cramped 5-seater vehicle was provided. The car was over 20 years old, on the verge of being scrapped, and offered an uncomfortable ride. Dust from outside filled the interior, making breathing difficult and negatively impacting our health, which in turn made the trip mentally very challenging. - The situation was so bad that we felt we couldn't continue the trip. We requested a vehicle change from the local tour operator and eventually managed to switch to a better-condition car. However, during the process of negotiating with the local tour operator, we spent a difficult time focusing on something other than our trip. The tour did not proceed as described on the Klook website, and it became a physically and mentally exhausting and difficult tour. I believe compensation for this must be provided. If Klook has any conscience after reviewing this, I hope they will offer appropriate compensation for the damages.
