What to expect
Step inside a peaceful temple in Minoh, Osaka, and experience Japanese swordsmanship through private training with sword master Tatsuya Watanabe.
Practice sword etiquette and fundamentals such as stance, footwork, grip, controlled movement, and breathing. Training is adapted to your experience, making it suitable for both beginners and guests with martial arts backgrounds.

Watanabe began kendo in his teens and later trained in Yagyu Shinkage-ryu. He now shares traditional sword culture through training, performances, and educational programs in Japan and abroad.
