What to expect
Arrival at the Stable Step into a traditional sumo stable. Exterior photos are welcome. Inside, our staff provides English interpretation to help international guests easily appreciate the culture, customs, and daily life of sumo.
Morning Practice Viewing Witness authentic, powerful sumo practice up close. To respect the wrestlers’ intense focus, guests must remain quiet. If a child becomes restless, our staff may guide you outside for a brief break.
Meeting Point & Access Go directly to Oshima-beya Sumo Stable (7-27-4 Aoto, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo). Staff will meet you at the venue. Please arrive by the designated time so you don’t miss the training.
Taxi (Recommended): A 10-minute ride from Aoto Station taxi stand (near A2 exit/Libre Keisei). Walking: 20+ minutes from the station.
