Oh my God, this was literally one of the best experiences I have ever had. Rocky was fantastic; he was funny and super informational. He guided me through the whole process, and his team was just super fantastic. They gave me history, and we just had fun with it. It was worth every second.
What an unforgettable and fun experience! Kenny guided us through every step, he was very friendly and Informative. We definitely recommend!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the class, my husband is a carpenter and he was amazed with the knowledge of wood selection the ladies had. My mother in law is hard of hearing and one of the ladies there patiently help her make her chopsticks. We also had fun doing this activity. We will definitely recommend this class to other friends and family that we know.
The chopstick workshop in Kyoto Arashiyama was an amazing start to our trip. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were friendly, and our instructor was incredibly kind and patient, making the whole experience both relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Kyoto :)
Here, you can create a wonderful souvenir of your trip to Japan by making your own chopsticks. We had a really cool, approximately one-hour experience, from selecting the wood and learning about the crafting process to finally completing our own chopsticks. During this time, you'll have personal interactions with the very warm and welcoming staff, who also gave us tips for our time in Kyoto. A laser engraving for 1000 Yen made our chopsticks even more personalized. We highly recommend this experience. We had a lot of fun, and it's a memory that will last!
Last-minute booking with zero expectations. And it turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the trip! My partner and I had such a great time with Ayako. It's the perfect afternoon activity to escape the Arashiyama heat and crowds. Staff spoke great English and were super helpful throughout. The base price is inexpensive, but upgrades like wood type and engraving cost extra. Still totally worth it. Would 100% recommend!
It was a wonderful experience. It was so much fun and totally worth it! Megumi and Kenny were excellent guides, very kind, and made us feel comfortable. The chopsticks turned out unique and are something very special to us, a great memory of Japan. ❤️🇯🇵 Thank you!
