During a tight window in my business trip to Italy, I visited Florence alone and made sure to book a fast-pass ticket for the Accademia Gallery in advance. The queue at the entrance was incredibly long, so I was very grateful for the ticket, which allowed me to use the fast lane and save a significant amount of time. This was incredibly valuable for a business traveler like me, where time is precious! The museum's layout was easy to navigate, and with the detailed explanations from the audio guide, I, as a solo traveler, was able to deeply appreciate the awe-inspiring presence and intricate details of Michelangelo's original David. The entire experience was very efficient and enriching. I highly recommend it to solo travelers who want to make the most of their limited time to see this classic masterpiece!
It was such a good day and experience, must visit in Florence for sure. ✔️
Easy to get the ticket and can get in on time
Tickets are easy to get. I highly recommend seeing David!
It was stated that a digital guide was included, but I inquired and received it the day after admission. It would have been more fun to see the exhibits if it had been sent in advance.
Do not buy! Do not buy! Do not buy! The vendor we were paired with is quite problematic! We arrived at the meeting point before our scheduled time and searched for a long time before finding staff member A. After confirming our booking information, he told us that, unfortunately, our entry would be delayed (by another 2 hours) and asked us to return later to pick up our tickets. Two hours later, staff member A had disappeared. We immediately scanned for people who looked like tour operators (only wearing local tour operator lanyards, no Klook logo) and found staff member B. He said the male staff member from the morning was sick and he was covering for him. Similarly, he said there were no tickets available for the current time, but he had just given tickets to another family. He told us we would have to wait another 2 hours. There were other travelers there who had been treated the same way. We immediately complained to him, but staff member B simply refused to allocate tickets to us. Since we were leaving Florence that afternoon, we had no choice but to request a refund from Klook. We strongly recommend that Klook carefully vet its partner vendors! This completely disrupted our travel plans and ruined our mood.
The ticket definitely worked to get us in around the time scheduled, it just took some work and worrying to make it happen. The instructions had us go to the Neptune Fountain where we saw a Klook representative holding a flag. When I approached her, she told us we were in the wrong spot. I showed her the email stating the Neptune Fountain and she was surprised. Somewhere else in the email it also showed an address next to the museum. She told us to go there and meet the other Klook representative. We went there, but there was no one holding a Klook flag. some other non identified people asked why we were there and we explained. They didn’t know anything about Klook. We continued to wait not knowing if we had been scammed. Then a guy wandered up and asked if we had vouchers. We showed him our email and he gave us two tickets and told us what line to stand in. Everything worked out and we were able to see The David, but it could have been with less doubt with a identified representative.
really bad. the lady at the audio refuse to give us the audio without some sort of ID collateral and refuse a student card which my daughter presented.
