Glad I booked the tickets online as by the time I arrived for my 1pm entrance, the next available ticket timing was for 3pm for those who didn’t reserve tickets! Weather was gorgeous today and I’m so thankful I got to see some sakuras before I fly!
Absolutely beautiful place to visit during the autumn foliage season! I would suggest picking out some of your favourite picks from the nearest Konbini and having a picnic in the park under the golden trees - it is magical!!
My partner and I had a wonderful time in the park surrounded by all the beautiful autumnal leaves and stunning scenery. This was definitely a highlight of our stay in Tokyo and couldn’t recommend more. The food and drinks from the cafe were also very nice. We visited on November 20th, making it the perfect time to see all the different coloured trees.
lovely tranquil experience. nice to enjoy the peaceful green calm of this wonderful park. just what was required after a long flight. booking experience quick and easy
I went with my family, and it felt really big and spacious~! My parents loved it, and I was especially happy because the weather was so nice on the day we visited!! It's the season for flowers to bloom in Japan right now... Seeing the flowers was healing and enjoyable. It would be really beautiful to go during cherry blossom season! Convenience of Klook booking: Experience: Facilities: Price:
absolutely beautiful garden. it's so well maintained and tranquil to walk around in. the expansive lawn welcomes you to walk on it and even to set up a tarp and take a load off.
a beautiful place i went there in the morning the weather was nice and the place wasn’t crowded. i did see many sakura trees and there was a lot of places to rest and drink . also they have lockers in every gate to keep your things for cheap price
Cheaper to get your ticket here on Klook. This is one of the parks that don’t cater to pets so that’s a nice factor for me and the weather was also nice when I went there. I did not get to tour the entire park as it is too big to be able to do in one day.

Guide

  • Secure your advance e-ticket and walk straight into one of Tokyo's most famous gardens, saving precious time, especially during the peak cherry blossom season.
  • Discover a breathtaking 58.3-hectare oasis in the heart of the city, featuring a unique blend of English Landscape, French Formal, and Japanese Traditional gardens.
  • From the iconic cherry blossoms of spring and lush summer greens to the fiery colors of autumn and serene winter landscapes, the garden's 10,000 trees offer spectacular scenery in every season.

A 10-minute walk from the South Exit of Shinjuku Station. Stroll through historic buildings amidst nature.

At Shinjuku Gyoen, you can appreciate a variety of distinctive garden styles, including a Landscape Garden with large trees dotting the spacious lawns, a Formal Garden centered around a rose bed and lined with plane trees, and a tranquil, traditional Japanese Garden designed for strolling. In spring, 1,000 cherry trees of about 65 varieties bloom; in summer, you can see the vibrant green leaves of the trees; and in autumn, you can enjoy the autumn foliage in a multitude of colors. The park also features numerous historical buildings, allowing you to explore historical heritage along with nature. Additionally, there are restaurants and cafes, and the gift shop offers sweets inspired by the seasons and nature, as well as Japanese-designed souvenirs. Please be sure to stop by when you visit.
