Reviews
Would definitely recommend this tour. great value for money- small personalised group (ours was only 4 and this is apparently the norm). Even if your a regular race-goer Tokyo racecourse and the Japanese system is totally different and without this tour and our guide we would not have enjoyed, experienced everything, gained such great seats or understood the day as much as we did. it’s also a way to enjoy Tokyo like a local - we were practically the only tourists there!
I really wanted to see horse racing in Japan and thanks to Eito it was very easy. There were a lot of people, more than I expected but it only added to the charm of the event when everyone was excited
We had a great time with Eito watching the G1 Japanese Derby and the G2 Meguro Kinen. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and we even came away with a win! I would recommend going with Eito to anyone who wants to experience Japanese horse racing but is a bit intimidated by figuring out how. Just make sure you do your research on the horses beforehand so you can place a good bet.
Super fun and unique experience! I wanted to see a race while I was here in Japan and had the opportunity to come and see the Victoria Mile G1 race. With G1 race day comes huge crowds, and Eito did a great job helping us navigate through the race course grounds and also helped us place bets! My horse didn’t win but that’s okay, still a fun and unique experience I think anyone would enjoy doing :)
What a great day at the race track to watch the Aoba Sho!!! Our guide, George, did a fantastic job from meeting us at Shibuya Station to getting us out to Tokyo Racecourse, leading us around the grounds and paddocks and helping place bets. Being the Aoba Sho is one of the premiere G2 races, there was a great atmosphere, fantastic weather and a packed house of fans which made the whole exprerience worth every cent. Unfortunately, didn't hit on any of my bets, but still came away feeling like winner due to all the fun and excitemnt I had. What a great day!
This is our first horse racing, and the guide, Eito San is very friendly and taught us everything we need to know about this new experience. Thanks to Eito San’s advice, my pick won the game👸👸👑👑
we had an amazing experience Eito and the rest of our small group. Let me tell you Japanese horse racing is unlike anything in the US. Everything is automated with betting and cashing out. Everything is so clean. The food is amazing and the crowd respectful. It was great to see the horses beforehand so we could choose the horses that we were interested in and then watch them on the race course both turf and dirt tracks. Our guide was very knowledgeable and so very helpful with every step of the way, he was amazed when our son Bette a little bit of money on the first race on one horse and one a bunch it was the most our guide had ever seen. We got treated to a nice dinner. I highly recommend booking with Eito and going to the horse races with him when you’re in Japan.
Eito was very knowledgeable and showed me around as we watched the horse racing (Keiba). It was fascinating to watch how Japan treats it like a regular sport with families coming to watch.
Eito was very friendly and taught us a lot about horse racing and betting. We enjoyed and had a lot of fun! It’s a really unique experience where you can learn about a lesser known part of Japanese culture.
Eito was such a great guide. We had so much fun as this was such a unique experience you don't get to do often due to tickets being hard to get. I love horse races back home, but nothing could hype up how amazing this track was! It was a super easy commute, and it was a packed stadium of 50k people. We also got to bet on the horses and won almost every one! I think Eito is lucky, because we won a lot of yen. I would definitely go again, it was a highlight of our trip.
