"Stunning Stage Effects": The performance utilizes 360° image presentation, a holographic acoustic system, comprehensive stage design within the theater, delicate dramatic lighting design, numerous special effects, and a blend of virtual and real props to immerse the audience. For example, actors have unique entrances, distributed in different positions before the show, making it hard to distinguish between real and fake; the stage features a 1:1 replica of Chiang Kai-shek's private plane, as well as large-scale scene arrangements like buildings and bridges, with the plane even "flying" onto the stage; multimedia special effects make gunfire and explosions seem real, creating a powerful visual impact.

The Xi'an Incident broke out on December 12, 1936, and is therefore also known historically as the "Double Twelve Incident." It was initiated by patriotic generals Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng, who advocated resistance against Japan within the Kuomintang.

"12.12" Xi'an Incident is a grand production presented by Shaanxi Tourism Group's Huaqing Palace Scenic Area, a masterpiece of performing arts launched at Huaqing Palace, the site of the "Xi'an Incident." Through ten acts, including "Ancient City in Flames," "Escalating Conflict," "Hasty Conspiracy," "Arrow on the Bowstring," "Ready for Battle," "War Imminent," "Gunshots at Dawn," "United Front," and "Vicissitudes of Life," the entire play uses high-tech stage techniques and combines film and theatrical art to authentically and vividly recreate the little-known historical truth of the "Xi'an Incident."
