I paired it with a sea trip package. This combination is not bad. If you plan to island hop in one day and explore three islands, this package is worth considering.

The Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum are the most worthwhile and architecturally complete places to visit in all of Athens. Be sure to take the hop-on hop-off bus, especially the Green Line, and enjoy the sea views from an open-top seat.

If you're only interested in seeing the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, I recommend just buying individual tickets. I went to all the other museums, and they felt more like add-ons. It's not necessarily a better value.

when we buy this pass the entrance time for the Acropolis is selected by the local tour operator and they had given us a 10.30 time slot, it was very hot in june and the heat made it horrible, we had our grandson with us and it was too hot, not any shelter. The big bus hop on and hop off was not much better either, there were two of city tour buses for every one big bus so we didn't even use it the second day. the hellenic motor exhibition and house of illusion were lovely, enjoyed both. The Acropolis museum was good but the staff wouldn't allow my grandson who is a toddler to run around and explore the place.we found their attitude to be restrictive. we thought maybe we could have bought the different tickets separately if we were able to select the timings on our own and a different hop on bus it would have been better. we enjoyed all the indoor exhibitions.

The places and museums that can be visited with the Athens City Pass are smaller than expected. Many of them are privately run spaces. The whole experience is not satisfying.
