Kyushu Wisteria Season One-Day Tour: Akama Shrine & Mojiko Retro Area & Kokura Castle (Departing from Fukuoka)

I really enjoyed the tour. Zhang is a great guide. He really wants the group to know more about Fukuoka and the area we visit. He shares the history of each place, the culture and the some trivia. At the end of the tour, he recommends what you need to eat in Fukuoka. Zhang made the trip amazing. We visited four places with enough time each spot. Wisteria Garden is really beautiful. be careful of the bees though. Mojiko Kokura Castle is big, i recommend to stroll around. Moji Retro is bustling with food and goods stalls. Then the shrine is beautiful as well, we even got time to feel the sea breeze and take a look ay the fish market nearby. Im glad I join this tour.

Great tour, many places to see in 1 day! Despite the rainy day we saw the main attraction nicely as our guide Jimmy changed the route order to go see wisterias first when there was almost no rain - great choice! Jimmy was very caring, organized everything quickly, had jokes ready and informed about most interesting facts, and very importantly - about restroom breaks and locations. Bus was very comfortable and schedule was on point!

Our tour guide, Xiao Wang, was very diligent in introducing the attractions and their origins. He also shared recommendations for delicious food and fun things to do in Fukuoka. 👍 He answered any questions we had in real-time and helped us take beautiful photos. 🍁 We were on a small bus, and every seat was filled. The seat size was a bit small and narrow, especially for men or taller people, and it's not suitable for people with luggage. The weather was quite nice that day (although it drizzled a bit in Yufuin, it only lasted for a while). The sky was beautiful, and some of the attractions had maple leaves 🍁 that were gradually turning red. Although the itinerary was a bit tight, we had a lot of fun at each spot and took many pictures. This tour is suitable for first-time visitors or those who are traveling with family and find it inconvenient to drive 🚗. Overall, it was great, and I recommend everyone to join!

A well organised tour. Tour guide and driver were very polite and friendly. Tour guide Jimmy is excellent, not only good in leading the tour, he also shared about interesting Japanese culture and habits. We managed to visit places we wanted to go with a low fee and without have to worry about transportation. Great !

this trip was so good, reasonable price and there is a lot of place that I think buying a tour is more easier than go by themselves. our guide (Wendy) also really friendly and always take care of us. it’s worth our money so much.

I was so impressed by how well-manged in everything MS.Wendy, our guide did! she always ask for our enjoyment and also treated us like family! miss Wendy can speak three languages so don’t be afraid if you don’t understand Japanese ! I think it will be better if only we can take more time in Yufuin😻 but overall, I was so satisfied and I got such good experiences traveling with Ms.Wendy👍🏻❤️

We had a great experience on the tour yesterday! Our guide, Ada, was fantastic—very helpful and clear in communicating the timing and expectations throughout the day. Everything ran smoothly thanks to her. My only wish is that we had more time to enjoy the wisteria park—it was absolutely stunning and truly the highlight of the trip.

I had a great experience on this 1-day trip. The bus was clean, cool, and not crowded—very comfortable throughout the ride. Everything was on schedule, with a small change in stop order that was well explained. Each location had enough time to explore, though I wish we had more time at Kokura Castle. The guide was friendly, clear, and managed time well. I joined alone and felt totally safe. The trip wasn’t rushed and offered good value for money. Perfect for solo travelers or anyone looking for an easy, well-organized day tour.

I had so much fun!! The bus numbers were easy to remember, and although the schedule isn't detailed, we arrived at the next location in just an hour! We went to the fish market and had some sushi or sashimi! We went around the small market that was like a bazaar and were able to buy things cheaply. The schedule and times were well organized, so we were very satisfied. 😊💕 The guide was also kind!

Klook's one-day tour to Fukuoka to enjoy the wisteria flowers is really recommended! We set off on Sunday, and our tour guide Jimmy arranged an extra attraction for us - Karato Market. We first went to the crowded Karato Market and bought some sushi to take outdoors. It was such a pleasure to enjoy the food facing the sea. Then we went around the Akama Jingu Shrine and returned to the Karato Market to buy delicious sashimi rice and eel rice. The second stop was Mojiko, where there were so many exhibition halls. We visited the Kyushu Railway Memorial Hall. However, since we only had 1 hour, we only visited the trains parked outside the main hall and took a small train ride before leaving. The third stop was Kokura Castle. We did not go inside to visit, but just followed the recommendation of our tour guide Jimmy and took a few photos at the best photo spots outside the castle. It would be better to shorten the time here and spend more time in Mojiko Port. Finally, we went to the highlight of this tour, Kawachi Wisteria Garden. Our tour guide Jimmy said that we were very lucky because 80% of the wisteria flowers were in full bloom. In fact, the wisteria flowers were so beautiful and fragrant that I was completely fascinated by them. The dreamy Kawachi Fuji Garden is definitely the perfect ending to this one-day trip. I would like to praise our tour guide Jimmy. He explained things clearly and took good care of the children. I hope I can join his tour again and I also hope he can take his family to visit Kawachi Fuji Garden!
