@ Music in Maokong Night
Before the New Year’s Eve countdown, the 《Music in Maokong Night》 concert will be held in the Maokong storage area, where gondolas are rarely open to the public and undergo maintenance. Admission is free for those participating in the VIP Starlight Gondola and purchasing Maokong Gondola one-day tickets. Listen to wonderful performances by the band, and a special lottery for 101 101 commemorative merchandise will be prepared. The melodious melody echoes in the high air, intertwined with the mountain forest night scene, presenting you with a unique musical feast. In this tranquility and starlight, start a new chapter in 2026. The staff are all very nice (the organizer does it personally?). Although I haven’t been there so I don’t know the location and process very well, but after arriving at the site, I will follow everyone and ask the staff and it will be no problem ~ The food provided on site is sufficient and diverse (light) The porridge was really unexpected 🤣), the performance was very good and the performers were also very interesting. It is rare to have such an opportunity to listen to pure music. It’s a bit boring on the roof, 101 is really too far 🤣 but the fireworks next to it are beautiful! Finally, on the return trip, because everyone had to leave at the same time, we arranged for different people to take the same cable car. It was a pity because we had to stay in the same small space with strangers for almost half an hour🥹 If we had to do it again, we might be at the back of the queue For some, there is enough room to ride alone with fellow travelers (after all, 2 people per car is indeed a bit of a luxury🤣)
Seeing the Taipei 101 fireworks from the MaoKong cable car and having your own cabin without sharing. No much crowd too. However, you may not get to witness the entire duration of the fireworks. Free goodies bag too. Overall experience is good especially with children.
The concert is rich in content, intellectual, prizes, quizzes, fun and humor, snacks, tea and light food are prepared on site. The final vantage point is to enjoy the 101 fireworks. Happy New Year.
The full-day ticket is available for children to enjoy music concerts, and is highly recommended for friends to try. Also, snacks are provided, and a large bag of gifts is also included.
At 11:40, board the fireworks carriages in order. There are 11 carriages each from the zoo to Maokong and from Maokong to the zoo. Lots will be drawn to see which carriage is numbered. The best position is around number 7. If you go too far in front of the last section, you will be blocked. We were on time to enjoy the fireworks at an open high point. Unfortunately, the glass of the carriage was a bit foggy, which affected the viewing experience.
It is the first time to do it this year. It is a very special experience. I hope to do it every year in the future.
