1. An air-conditioned village bus that runs every 10-15 minutes. 2. A guide who asks for your destination and tells you where to get off. 3. A convenient and cost-effective transportation card with no haggling or overcharging. The beach at the northern terminus has the clearest water!
Highly recommended for DIY adventurers. Hassle free transportation with one-tap card payment and spacious bus. You can also have a visit to the tourist spots as shown on their map guide. You just need patience in waiting for the next bus and more reserved energy to long walks
We tried the Hop-On Hop-Off (HOHO) bus in Boracay and used it for about 9 rides around the island. It’s a convenient way to get around, especially if you don’t want the hassle of finding transportation each time. However, don’t expect to cover all scenic spots in just one day. A 1-day land tour isn’t really enough, especially since some tourist spots are not directly accessible by the bus. In some areas, the bus will drop you off at the main road, and you’ll need to walk around 5–10 minutes to reach the actual destination. The waiting time for the bus is around 10–15 minutes, which is manageable. There’s also a website where you can track the bus in real time, which is very helpful for planning your stops. Overall, it’s a good and convenient option for exploring Boracay, but be prepared for some walking and consider spending more than one day if you want to fully enjoy all the tourist spots.
Our first travel to Boracay proved to be so relaxing partly because of HOHO buses. You dont have to worry on haggling with e-trikes to & from destinations. It has so many stops that if you're tired of walking, you can just ride even if its on the next stop. The onky cons that I can see is that sometimes you have to wait for a long time before the next bus. but I guess its okay, because they provide sort of real-time tracker of the buses.
Very convenient! You can visit a lot of destinations using the Hop-on Hop-off bus. The bus waiting time is acceptable.
Super sulit! We got to go around boracay using hop on and hop off. A lot of places are reachable using this bus. They also have someone on the bus to assist you. The price is worth it for the convenience. We'll get this again when we come back to boracay.
We used the 24 hrs hop on hop off from cagban port to our hotel and we used this travel to and from one station to another and to diniwid beach for happy hour. This is value for money if you are going to other areas of boracay since tricycle are expensive going to other beach areas.
🌴✨ Highly Recommended: Boracay Hop-On Hop-Off Shuttle! 🚌🌊 I had such a smooth and convenient experience using the Boracay Hop-On Hop-Off service during my recent trip! The buses were clean, air-conditioned, and arrived on time, which made getting around the island incredibly easy and stress-free. What I loved most was the flexibility—I could explore different stations like Station 1 (for White Beach and luxury resorts), Station 2 (shopping and D’Mall), and Station 3 (more laid-back beach vibes), all without worrying about tricycle haggling or walking long distances under the sun. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the app/QR code system made it super convenient to track the next bus. It’s also a budget-friendly option if you plan to move around a lot throughout the day. ✅ Safe ✅ Reliable ✅ Affordable ✅ Tourist-friendly Definitely a must-try for first-timers or anyone who wants a hassle-free way to explore Boracay. Would use it again on my next visit!
I love this HoHo Bus experience! All the staff from the ticket office to the bus driver and attendant are helpful and kind. They were so thoughtful of our needs and willing to provide instructions as we navigate our way to town and landmarks. It's very easy to navigate through the app to see were the next bus will be, they can be monitored real time on the app/link. We opted to get the HoHo card compared to the usual landtour packages coz we want to manage our time than to be hurriedly going to places like what usually is 3 hrs only. We went out at 12noon, and made our way to Keyhole at Newcoast, after that, we went to Puka Beach and spent more or less 3.5 hrs in there frolicking at the beach. Grabbed some snacks and then proceeded to another HoHo bus ride to Willy's rock. It was such a hassle free experience and will definitely book this again when we come back. And oh, by the way, the card is reusable and can be used again when you come back, or have your friends use it!
the most convenient card i ever bought! super the best and very friendly staff. was able to explore the whole island in a day with the help of hoho
