This was such an amazing experience!! Even though it was SUPER hot, I would absolutely do it again! The cooking class was so much fun, and our teacher, One (I hope I spelled her name right!), was the absolute best. She was super patient, kind, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We made SO much food and even got to play with fire 🔥😂 Special guests were some adorable puppies, which made it even better! The bamboo boats pick you up right next to the restaurant. The ride starts super peaceful, then you get to the exciting part where everyone starts spinning and it basically turns into a party! The crab fishing wasn’t that interesting to me. I would have rather done the lantern release, but I think I chose the wrong option. If you book, make sure to add the lantern activity! Learn from me lol HIGHLY recommend! Thank you, One!! ❤️
Such a good experience with so much activities packed in one tour. We loved visiting the market and buying from actual local stores. The cooking class was also very fun! The coconut ride was also very fun and we got spun around for an additional VND 10k. One thing to note though, this is not the “original” coconut boat with the karaoke and such. But it’s a coconut boat ride nonetheless and the grandma that rowed for us was very friendly and cheerful. Our guide, Hanh was also very nice and even gave us recommendations even after the tour.
This half-day tour comes highly recommended and is excellent value for money. Everyone, from our driver and guide Lee to the coconut boat operators, was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. The activities were engaging and fun. The market was a bit warm in the morning, but the coconut boat ride was very refreshing. The boat operators were great at interacting with us, and we even paid extra to experience the spinning coconut boat, which made the whole ride very entertaining and enjoyable! The cooking class was also fantastic; our teacher was kind and provided clear instructions, making it easy for both adults and children to participate. The food we cooked at the end was delicious. We had a wonderful half-day and would definitely recommend trying this tour if you get the chance!
Amazing! For 15 euros, it almost feels like we're ripping them off! A complete cooking class, the food is excellent, a baguette is offered at the end, a boat trip with crab fishing where we're given rings made from leaves, a walk through the market, and fruit tasting. It's a 10/10, simply unbeatable value for money.
Such a fruitful experience! We experienced spinning boat and coconut boat passing through the river! The market visiting was very recommended as you can take a look at how local people live. We had step by step learning procedure for meal cooking session. We will come again!
We had such an amazing experience on this tour. Our host and cooking instructor Hanh was great. She has great humor which made the walk in the market and the cooking class great to follow. The instructions were clear and she was very helpful with personal attentiveness, even though we had a group of 11 people. The tour was nicely organised and time wise it was planned good. The eco tour on the river was also great. All the guides had an amazing attitude which made the trip very enjoyable. They were singing and made it a really unforgettable experience. It is also fine to do this tour with children. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Read so much about this vietnamese cooking class which made us sign up. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We really had fun during the cooking class. Quality ingredients were used during the class which was reflected on all our food. All their staff were kind and accommodating as well. This is definitely one for the books!
we got picked up from our hotel and transferred to the local market to explore the local ingredients before heading towards the venue to refresh before going on the coconut boats and crab fishing. unfortunately we weren’t successful in catching any crabs, but it was fun anyways in the shade. Later we went to the point were they were doing the full spinning coconut boat experience, which was fun to watch. but we didnt dare the participate 😅 Before heading back to the cooking class venue. We started with the soup for pho, papaya salad then the spring rolls and the pancake before making the fish. we ate the pancake, springrolls and salad as first before eating the pho and fish with morning glory and rice. Ending the class with some local fruits. It was very yummy and fun experience!
Was super fun and enjoyable! Learnt more about the different fresh vegetables, fruits, meat and noodles in the local market which made us appreciate the food in Vietnam more. The coconut boat ride was relaxing and the view of the open sea was really nice (although there were no crabs to catch). We had to pay 50k VND more for the spinning experience which was so thrilling. The cooking class was well explained and easy to follow although fast for people who don't really cook (aka me) but overall was delicious and fulfilling. It was fun to understand how locals usually cook! They then sent us to the Hoi An City Centre. Will highly recommend this tour due to the variety of activities and good food!
The whole experience was super fun and full of great activities! From exploring the market to riding the basket boat and cooking our own meal, every part was interesting and full of laughter 🤣 The guide was super friendly and even helped us take photos! The instructor explained everything so clearly, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was even better than the cooking classes I joined before, plus the pickup service was so convenient! Everything was relaxing and enjoyable — highly recommend! 💛
