Located slightly away from the busy old town of Zhou An but only a 5-minute walk away. Good breakfast. Spacious rooms with great a/c.

Decent hotel but not worth the price. I reserved a Triple Room at $70+ a night but was given a room with only a King Bed that cost $20 less. After talking to the front desk twice they brought a foldaway bed in the room. Not the same but that’s the best they could do. I did not like that you can not flush your toilet paper. There was a sign above the toilet. I wouldn’t have reserved if I knew ahead of time. I’ve lived in Asia for years & it’s normally told to you ahead of time. Also there is an info booklet in the room that states no outside food or drink allowed at the hotel. We were told 2 different explanations that didn’t help to clarify from staff. We spent a month at the Hadana Hotel nearby and received 5 star service & better accommodation for less. Gym is not in good condition. Breakfast is good but not included in your room rate. Pool is nice but there was a woman naked in the pool with kids nearby who had to be told it was unacceptable. Some kind of droppings (lizard or something else) all across the balcony. Not hygienic This hotel is probably great for large families and who willing to settle to save money but not my favorite place.

The staffs were all kind and helpful! Ask them something and they're always ready to help and suggest the best place to go. They really made the place worth coming back in the future. Hotel itself is located in a convenient location as it's close to ancient town. And definitely so flexible! Was so glad we could leave our luggage behind to grab dinner, even tho we already check out.

The hotel staff was so incredibly supportive and helpful during our 3 night stay. The room was large and comfortable and the area felt very quiet and safe. You can see the area around the hotel is still recovering from the flooding but that didn’t affect our experience at all. We are the epitome of showing up without plans so meeting Ruby at the front desk was delightful! She helped up book day trips, shows, dinners and massages! We loved every minute at the Gem and would definitely stay there again!

Amazing hotel with friendly and helpful staff who made you feel at home. Due to flooding, it was a bit of a challenge to get in/out of the hotel at times but the staff were ready with options to help and ensure guests safety. Thank you for a lovely stay!
