Arrived at the location 10 minutes before alloted time as requested, couldnt find the place as no visible sign that Colts even existed. The Google location pin sent by Klook and via email when our booking was confirmed led to a private track road with access blocked by a security barrier and "no entry" signs around it. After walking around for 20 minutes near the pin location we doubled back (now 10 minutes late) only to find the barrier had now been opened. We walked up the. private "no entry" track and eventually, by complete luck, found the place. Horses looked in ok condition, guides spoken very little English. Our daughter also mentioned they used a whip on the lead horse during the hour long chaperoned ride. Normally, we usually go horse riding when in Phuket but instead go to Horse Club Phuket in Bang Tao, also booked via Klook. They are a much better choice and also cheaper, horses all looked very well maintained and they never use a whip during any of our visits. At Horse Club they even drive you and the horses down to the beach in vehicles before the ride out begins which is a lot of fun! Unfortunately this time and this booking with Colts was not one we will repeat. Colts need to make some simple improvements before they can offer a competitive horse riding experience in Phuket which is fun for the family. We paid over £60 for under 1hr of riding, that's more expensive that 1hr horse riding at Trump Turnberry in Scotland !
