Tokyo Asakusa & Senso-ji Half-Day Cultural Walking Tour

I had the pleasure of joining an Asakusa walking tour with Yayoi, and it was a wonderful experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything clearly in excellent English, making the history and culture easy to understand. I also appreciated how kind and attentive she was to another family on the tour, especially their children, making sure everyone felt included and comfortable. She even took me to the top of the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center, which offers an amazing viewpoint that I might have otherwise missed. Thank you, Yayoi, for such a memorable tour. Connie was a friendly, knowledgeable guide. It was especially interesting learning about the history of the temples formation (pre dating Tokyo). This is a great tour for people wanting an introduction to Japan’s shrines and temples.

The tour with Connie was amazing! the arrangements to meet were all clear and she kept in touch with us on What's App. We were given a tour of the area before we went to the main temple and Connie took the time to explain rituals to us and gave excellent history about the temple. She also gave us advice about things to do in the area after the tour.

This was a great tour. It was a small group and our guide, Aska, informed us about everything related to the temple and surrounding area - from religious rituals, to historical significance, and general fun facts.

Joe is very knowledgeable and patient with the kid with us with lots of questions. We learned a lot interesting info as well as the history and places tucked in Asakusa that we wouldn't have found on our own. A very informative and entertaining tour and we definitely recommend it to everyone. Cheers!
