Taipei | Hotel Royal Beitou | Private Hot Spring Room, Public Nude Bath, In-Room Hot Spring

We purchased the 1.5-hour hot spring experience from Klook, which required us to call the hotel to reserve a time slot. We made the reservation the day before, and the earliest available slot was at 6:30 PM. When we arrived, we were 20 minutes early. The reception staff registered us and asked us to wait for the room to be prepared. At around 6:19 PM, the reception brought us to our room and explained how to use the amenities and provided instructions for the hot spring experience. They kindly gave us an extra 11 minutes, allowing us to stay until 8:00 PM. I was lucky enough to get the only room type with a window, but I visited a room type without windows, but the shower area was larger (as in the photo, it was very nice. They would help to drain the water first)

If you don't like crowds but enjoy hot springs, there are off-peak discounts available from April to the end of September. Be sure to call ahead for a reservation before you go; the staff are friendly and provide detailed explanations. Also, if you're driving, you can first ask the guard at the entrance if there are any parking spaces left for the hot spring rooms. If not, there's a Qixing Park Dudu parking lot on the side of the MRT station across the street, and it's convenient to use a credit card to pay for parking. Today's room didn't have an outside window, but it had a relatively large pool, so there was plenty of space for two people to soak. Alternatively, if you prefer a larger resting area, you should choose a room with an outside window, even though the pool might be smaller.

Booked a different place for a wrong date - only found out when trying to check it. Found this place right after and they had a room which was perfect. They're also located about 5 min from Xinbeitou station.

It is easy to book during weekdays. The size of the hot spring room is suitable for two people. If I have to say it, I think it is a bit small. I may prefer to stay overnight in the future so that I can use the hot spring at any time during my stay. The downside of the hot spring room is that it is an independent space, so it is a bit stuffy and very humid.

On a spontaneous trip, I visited the Hotel Royal Beitou to enjoy the hot springs. The overall environment was just like the photos—very clean and comfortable, with a subtle fragrance that made me feel incredibly relaxed.

If you book on the same day, you can use the ticket directly on the same day ~ very convenient. When making a reservation, the service staff is very considerate and will ask if you need to fill the water in the hot spring room first!
