Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen, Shifen, and Golden Waterfall Day Tour

We were originally planning to do DIY for the Shifen and Jiufen Night View Tour but we decided to try out the Klook tour and it was definitely a great last minute decision as the tour was really worth it. We have Kate as our tour guide and she really made the tour interesting and memorable. She shared with us information on best spots in the area for picture and always reminded us to not just focus on trying to grab the best pictures, but to pause and take a deep breath, capture the moment by ourselves which makes it more special. She also gives us a lot of info about the place, culture, and a lot more of what to love in Taiwan! And as a bonus, we received a pretty trinket from her. She's a sweet and dependable tour guide, I hope all the best for her and you will definitely appreciate Taiwan more if you book this tour.

It was a great trip and the tour guide, Clement, made some amazing suggestions on which stores to go to and what food we should try (without being pushy). There was also a free water bottle included. At the end of the trip, he also made some suggestions on other places we should visit in Taipei. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes since there will be a lot of walking!

Joining on this tour turned to be the highlight of our Taipei trup. Imma, our tour guide, made sure that our group will enjoy all the places we will go. She gave her best to let everyone understand her instructions so well. Very fun to be with. Her English is good! Thank you!

He made the tour fun and interactive, sharing fascinating stories about Taiwan’s culture, history, and how the island was formed. He also gave us many useful travel tips and cultural insights that every visitor should know. His enthusiasm and engaging style made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Vincent as your guide!

Our tour guide was Iris and she was absolutely phenomenal. She’s very knowledgeable, kind and organized. She made sure every step of the way that we were all there and no one was left behind. She also checked in with us regularly and made sure we were doing okay. I did this tour with my parents who are in their 50s and they were able to do it just fine, though we had to go a little slower for some places where there was a lot of steep walking.

Even though the weather was really hot, the tour was really fun showing a little slice of Taiwan! Nice to have toured with new friends, Tim and Julia! Our tour guide was really accommodating to everybody’s needs and passionate for his job! Kudos to him!

I chose this tour because the schedule matched the Muslim prayer times, and I was able to pray at the official prayer room at Yehliu Geopark. The tour guide kindly accommodated this, which I really appreciated. The itinerary was well organised, and we had enough time at each location. The longest stop was Jiufen Old Street, which involved quite a lot of walking, so do keep that in mind. We pre-booked the lantern and snacks at Shifen on the bus so by the time we reached there, we only had to pick up and pay for our order. The weather was pleasant. Everyone was punctual, which made the tour run smoothly. Our guide, Joseph M, explained everything in both English and Mandarin, making the tour accessible to different groups of travellers.
