To get there, you can take the subway to Makomanai Station and transfer to a bus to reach the Suzuran Hillside Park registration area. Our instructor was Mr. Katsuoka, and he patiently taught us how to use the Segway. He led us on a 11.5 km tour of the park's forest. As we rode our Segways, he constantly looked back to ensure our safety. He also took photos and videos for us and provided information about the plants along the way. During our break, he even prepared refreshments for us. We are truly grateful to Mr. Katsuoka for giving our family such a wonderful experience and memories.
Very beautiful park and very interesting Segway tour. it is very different from what I have seen in the US. It is in this huge park, you go up the high hills with cool viewing points. You go on the dirt roads and through the medows and forest. Great guide too, highly recommended overall!
We had an amazing time. Our tour was on June 7 at 1:30 pm. Our guide was very funny and entertaining. It was a little chilly so bring a wind breaker if you go around the same time of year. The park is lovely and it was ky 16 yr old daughter's first time riding a Segway. It's easy to learn how to maneuver it.
We have 7 people and 1 was just waiting ..... Better to have 2 coaches for group >6 people. Otherwise, all are good
