After breakfast, we boarded a bus from a stop on the main street of Ximending. The ride was comfortable in the cool bus. We arrived at the Jiufen entrance bus stop in just under an hour. Since there are fewer shops open in the morning, there are also fewer tourists, allowing us to walk around and explore at a leisurely pace. Even though we went in the morning, a few souvenir shops and convenience stores were already open.

The bus arrived on time, the air conditioning worked very well and the journey was very pleasant. Very quick and easy checkin with the QR code. We weren't quite sure where to get off, but then we used Google Maps to find our way around once we arrived.

It is very easy to go to the bus station, and from there, we can take the bus directly. It was a very nice experience, and there's no need for seat reservations.

The Jiufen Old Street bus ticket is for taking bus 965 (Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - Jiufen Gold Ecological Route). I originally chose to board at the bus stop next to Exit 2 of the MRT Ximen Station, but I couldn't find any signs, which was a little unsettling. Later, after looking more carefully, I realized the 965 bus had moved to a bus stop a little further ahead. Eventually, I boarded the bus smoothly. The driver was friendly and expertly scanned my QR code. The bus to Jiufen was really crowded, and the journey took more than an hour. Unfortunately, it was raining that day, and having to use an umbrella while exploring Jiufen was a bit of a letdown.

The bus came on time, it was clean and comfortable. The journey took about an hour. Very convenient, recommended.

the easiest and convenient way to go to jiufen. ride the bus from beimen station (outside beimen exit 2) on Wednesday afternoon around 2pm not too pack & can accommodate 4 pax without waiting for another bus.

It's very convenient, with frequent services and comfortable air conditioning. The ride takes 40 minutes directly to Jiufen, avoiding the inconvenience of transferring from a train, making the journey much more enjoyable, especially suitable for traveling with seniors.

I booked the tickets like 10 mins before the trip. fast to confirm and easy to use. our family of 4 boarded the bus to Ruifang and just within walking distance from my airbnb. bus stop located near Ximen Station and we can put all our luggage into the bus. better than taking train as it’s fast and smooth.

We waited for the bus at Ximending Exit 2 around 1:30 PM. We had just missed a bus, so we waited 20 minutes for the next one. Using Klook was very convenient; we just showed the driver the QR code to board. The seats were comfortable, and the air conditioning was sufficient. It was a very convenient direct trip to Jiufen, and the drop-off location was ideal.
