Rain couldn’t dampen the magic of standing on the Prime Meridian at Royal Observatory Greenwich! Dodging puddles, time-traveling through astronomy exhibits, and enjoying misty city views—definitely a fun, unforgettable experience.
I visited the prime meridian of the Greenwich Observatory, the only center of time on Earth! You can also see the unobstructed view from the Greenwich Observatory Park toward the National Maritime Museum! It is a place you must visit at least once when traveling to England :)
I easily entered using the QR code I received. I downloaded the museum app and spent about an hour listening to the audio guide. There were a lot of people in the middle of the school, probably because they were on a field trip, but it quickly became quiet. Photos taken at the Bonzo Meridian are precious photos that you will treasure for a lifetime.
so great to see the Meridian line and learn more about GMT, the astronomers and how they calculated time
Got a considerable discount compared to buying tickets directly. No need to book in advance. Price: Good
I personally love the view of the London skyline from the Observatory, but otherwise, I feel the tickets are a bit expensive. It's probably a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The Royal Observatory Greenwich is perfect for a family visit, with lots of introductions to the history and figures of astronomy/You can also enter with a QR code, which is very convenient.
It is very convenient to scan the code on the ticket at the door. After entering, there is wifi in the area to connect to the free audio tour, and there are also staff explanations, which is worth it.
