My visit to the British Museum left a very vivid impression on me. It's one of those places you want to return to again and again. From the very first moments, the sheer scale of the museum is striking—the enormous building with its beautiful inner courtyard and glass roof creates a special atmosphere. The exhibits are so diverse that it's impossible to see everything in a single visit. I particularly remember the ancient Egyptian halls with mummies and the famous Rosetta Stone—it felt as if I had touched real history.
It is a very big place. Be prepared that some zone be closed with notice. Do visit the popular zone or favourite zones first to avoid disappointment.
Crowded but smooth sailing. used our e vouchers to enter museum and we didn’t have to join the queue to buy tickets. GOod place to go for first timers.
After booking, a staff member will escort you inside, and an audio guide is included. You don't have to wait in long lines outside, which is very tourist-friendly.
We received the meeting point contact information and instructions on how to download and use the British Museum audio guide in advance. The entrance also didn't require excessive security checks. The British Museum is definitely worth a visit.
The architecture and spatial design of the British Museum are truly awe-inspiring, so beautiful and grand. The interior design is exquisite, and the exhibits are extensive, covering a wide range of fields.
I had trouble finding my way and arrived about 5 minutes late, but they waited for me. A young gentleman provided a brief introduction and helped me use the audio guide with a QR code. There was even a Korean option. He explained the main points for about 40 minutes and guided me inside. He was very kind, and I couldn't help but feel grateful. Thanks to him, I had a great time at the British Museum.
World famous museum fill with mostly stolen goods from all over the world, great testament of the horrific English imperialism! Lots to see but limited space for resting could make it difficult for family and elderly visitors.
