"Amanohashidate" is one of the special scenic spots known as the "Three Views of Japan," along with "Matsushima" in Mutsu and "Miyajima" in Aki. With a total length of approximately 3.6 kilometers, it is a sandbar formed by sand deposition along the coast. It has approximately 8,000 pine trees of various sizes, with white sandy beaches on both the east and west sides, making it a special natural landscape. Its shape resembles a bridge extending diagonally towards the sky, hence the name "Amanohashidate" (bridge to heaven). There is an observatory on Mt. Monju from which you can view Amanohashidate. The mountain has a cable car and amusement facilities suitable for all ages. Amanohashidate seen from here looks like a dragon flying up to the sky, so it is called "Hiryukan" (flying dragon view), where you can see a vibrant Amanohashidate landscape. [Ine Village] is rated by Japanese people as one of the 18 most beautiful villages in Japan. It has unique boat house architecture on the water, where you can experience the original scenery that tourist destinations do not have. Even today, people still coexist with the sea in front of them. The clear and beautiful sea, the deep green mountains, the rapidly changing colors of the sky, and the colors of the boat house buildings that represent the Japanese style, these are the pure natural colors that can only be experienced in Ine Town. The fishing village is located along the coast, away from the hustle and bustle and full of rustic innocence.
You can experience a boat tour at your own expense, which takes about 25 minutes to tour Ine Bay, and you can also feed the seagulls. (Departures every hour and half hour, boat tickets at your own expense: Adults 1200 yen, Children 600 yen, Seagull food 100 yen per bag. If the service is suspended due to stormy weather, it will be changed to a free walk.) Note: There are many eagles in the Ine Funaya area. Please be careful when taking a tour boat. If you see any eagles, please stop feeding the seagulls immediately and put away the feed in your hand to avoid being pecked by the eagles.
