Take the subway to Umeda Station and walk for about 15 minutes, you will reach the Blue Sky Building. The night view on the top floor is very beautiful. It is recommended to arrange this point in your itinerary. It is worth a visit.

It is recommended to buy a ticket first. You cannot buy the Love Lock on site. The scenery is really beautiful. I recommend everyone to go if you go to Umeda!

I decided to book this a day before and not long after I was already able to get my voucher. When you get to Umeda Sky, you get to skip the process of getting tickets althought the line wasn’t that long. I suggest to go there before sunset so that you can enjoy both day and night. Also when you get to the top, don’t wear white because the UV light will make any white clothing to blue.

Amazing views of Osaka and the architecture of this tower is quite something. Note: When at the Umeda Sky building, ensure you look for the Kuchu Teien Observatory. The signage won't say Umeda Sky Building.

Depending on the time of day, the line for the elevator can be an additional 20-30 minutes. We went towards sunset and had to wait awhile. Also be aware that you will be walking 15 minutes from the Umeda station. there are several flights of stairs to get to the Skydeck, which is why it’s worth the money and time!

Securing tickets to the Umeda Sky Building and Kuchu Teien Observatory in Osaka was an unforgettable highlight of my trip to Japan. The iconic Umeda Sky Building's unique architectural design and soaring heights offered a thrilling experience from the moment I arrived. Ascending to the Kuchu Teien Observatory, suspended between the two towers, provided panoramic views of Osaka's sprawling cityscape, framed by the majestic mountains beyond. The observatory's open-air deck allowed me to feel the city's pulse while taking in the breathtaking scenery. As the sun set, Osaka's skyline illuminated, painting a mesmerizing picture that will forever be etched in my memory. Overall, the ticket to the Umeda Sky Building and Kuchu Teien Observatory delivered an unparalleled experience, combining architectural marvels with awe-inspiring vistas, making it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Osaka.

Conversation with Gemini profile picture Do a 10 sentence review of umeda sky building Show drafts The Umeda Sky Building is a must-visit in Osaka for its stunning 360-degree city views. The twin towers are connected by a unique "Floating Garden Observatory" offering breathtaking panoramas. Daytime visits showcase the bustling city, while evenings reveal a magical nightscape. Consider going for sunset to capture both. There's a cafe on the top floor for drinks with a view. Adult admission is around 1,500 yen, which some find pricey. The basement features a retro Showa-era food court, Takimikoji, for a taste of Osaka's history. If you're using the Osaka Amazing Pass, entry to the Umeda Sky Building is free. While there can be lines, they move quickly. Overall, the Umeda Sky Building is a great way to experience Osaka from above and learn about the city's past.
