Cheap (ish) for London. It's a converted townhouse so rooms small, but clean and functional. Decor is dated, but when you're out and about all day and you just need somewhere to sleep...perfect. Clean bathroom, comfortable beds. Be warned there is no Aircon, so the rooms can get stuffy and hot.

It was fine for what we needed. If you don't mind lots of steep stairs, the attic room where we were was small but adequate. Rather dated but clean and friendly.

For business

The room was surprisingly roomy and was clean. I was only staying one night after a business meeting and didn't really spend time in the room, so didn't need any amenities. The one big let down is that there was no hot water, so had to take a cold shower in the morning.

For leisure

Have stayed here many times over the years when it was owned by a private family but now it is run by a company. They have discontinued breakfast however it is well run and good value for the money particularly because of the excellent location
