Fantastic

Stayed with family

I travel all over Europe and Italy and I don’t drive anymore so I stay always in historic centers so I can move around on feet and taxis or metro. This hotel is great it is the cleanest one I have ever been in my life. I felt like I was home for the cleanliness. All staff was very gentle and helpful with everything the larger Luxury room in the Vivaldi annex building were recently updated walk in showers and plenty of space. The cost is very reasonable for historic city centers and during the day the concert hall next door was pleasant to listen too when you opened the window! I was very impressed with the service amenities and all staff. Nice to be able to not carry a day pack and commute. If you love classical music and opera the concert hall next to the Vivaldi annex you will be in heaven. The main hotel is also very beautiful with a rooftop bar and restaurant with very delicious food and drinks. You will find great trattoria Otello near by and plenty of shopping and easily return to room for drop off bags and rest during the hot hours of the day as I find taking my time enjoying the city instead of rushing after all we are visiting Italy. Close to Spanish Steps and piazza di Popoli. I will definitely stay here again when in Rome I was very impressed with everything!

The property was clean and in a safe area. Convenient location. The property location was a little weird; we weren’t actually in the hotel building - it was down the street and inside another building. It was a little spooky at night walking down the pathway to the elevator but the hotel room itself was clean and pretty roomy for Rome. We didn’t get the try the breakfast that was included but I heard it was wonderful.

The reception staff were excellent. Hotel accommodations adequate but not what was expected for pricing. The street noise and dog barking w eye disruptive in late evening and early morning.

I would not rate this hotel 4 stars unfortunately. We booked the anex rooms as they were the only options available though the rooms were dated. The entrance to the anex rooms are from the main road, away from the actual hotel with street bins left infront of the main doors every night. On one of the days the stairway lights wouldnt even work. Rooms were dusty and not vacuumed, and mould in the showers. The rooms are not soundproofed as stated.. the cleaners would have full on crystal clear conversations in the hallway first thing in the morning. Hotel stated the bar closes at 11pm though we were told by bar staff they were closed when we arrived at 10.30pm. Location is ideal though thats about it unfortunately.
