Great
A couple blocks from Okachimachi station. There is a Parco with Toho cinema nearby. Ameyokocho is also right up the block and Ueno station is only about a 10 min walk. Hotel was clean and staff were helpful at checkin, there was an extra fee / local tax that had to be paid on top of the reservation cost it was 300¥ and you pay at one of the check-in terminals. There is a laundry room on the 2nd floor that was 200¥ for a load in the wash and 200¥ for 30 min in the dryer. Lots of food and shopping options along the train tracks near station. Quick jump from the station to Ueno, Akihabara, Kanda, and Tokyo stations

Overall this is a decent budget hotel…if you have considerate neighbours. I unfortunately did not. Room walls are extremely thin and if your neighbour is slamming around then you’ll hear everything. People were also gathering in the hallway to talk very late and you can hear every word. My bathroom sink smelled of rotten eggs sometimes. The room itself was nice and functional, well thought out. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return due to the noise issues. Staff at reception were lovely, always greeting me each morning and evening.

I wish they should serve other kinds of free drinks other than coffee! My desk has a weird setup where the plugs were at the sides instead on the top of the desk. Not enough electrical outlets or usb-c connections.

R&b is always great the location is great for me and reasonable price..rooms are small but clean & there is no window view but the air conditioner works well.. near Ueno and Alihabara and close to several trains this place works for me!
