The hotel did not match the pictures online. It is under renovation- which is a few years late. The lobby and breakfast area are updated, but the rooms and hallways are grungy. The carpets are stained and discolored everywhere, there was mold in the bathroom, and dust was caked on the vents. It is a short walk to the Vatican, a hike to the Colosseum, a short ride to the train station. Staff was very nice.

The breakfast was fine, the rooms well. The elevators are still alittle bit old and not enough of them for all the guests. The Breakfast room is hard to find. Other than this I can recommend the place, I´ve been there a few times now.

Great Best decision to stay here. Not too far from Vatican, grab a scooter with Lime app on a time basis. You can buy tickets there, grab the Vatican Sn Pedro Chatedral and all the museums packagage,
For day 1, then jump on the red bus tour for move around the city. Visit St Michael castle, Davinci city museum (not the expo). Great time
