This was a wrong booking, but it was non-refundable, as stated on Klook's website. However, Klook customer service was helpful (albeit rather uncommittal at first). They suggested contacting the hotel to expedite any possible refund. The manager at La Siesta Classic Ma May, Mr Dzung Nguyen, was prompt, helpful and transparent. The refund was done at the hotel's end, and routed through Expedia (which Klook uses as third party for booking of this hotel), and finally to Klook. It took about 4 weeks but it was finally refunded, which was a pleasant surprise given that the initial booking was on a "non-refundable" basis. I made two more bookings for the hotel subsequently, and really enjoyed the stay and the hospitality of the staff.
