Solo stay

The air conditioning worked but no way was the temperature reading accurate - I was unable to achieve the temperature I was hoping for. The shower head also left something to be desired. However, location was great. It was clean and safe. No frills.

I booked this hotel short notice in a pinch - good location. I did not like their terms for entry, i got an advisory that the hotel does not allow checkin after 12am - not super helpful if you are a 2 or 3am arrival like i was, it's NYC guys. There was someone at the front desk when i arrived but if you are operating a hotel in NYC your checkin desk should be 24x7 with warnings to your guests - i felt needless anxiety. Apart from this - the hotel was clean and my stay was fine.

Room was very clean and roomier than most NYC hotels. Staff were super-friendly, attentive, and helpful. While the location is excellent, it's noisy AF, as it's so close to the Holland Tunnel. We still had a great stay and if you're looking for a reasonably priced option downtown, definitely give this place a go.

The rooms are nice, even the smaller ones. One bummer was that there was only 1 elevator available because the other was broken the whole time of my stay. Also, priced more on the “reasonable “ side, at least $100 less expensive than others in the area per night
