this hotel was very well designed in terms of aesthetics and comfort. it is a combi of old and new all in one and we really enjoyed appreciating the details of the concrete walls against the wood. water and aircon all good too. the only thing to note is that it is on a hill so for people like us who didnt rent a car it was an uphill climb to bring our luggage up. we realised afterwards we could use ride hailing didi instead (they have a promo code for 500yen off) which is affordable to get to the station. less than 800-1000yen
