Hiroshima Castle tours

For a hassle free and easy traveling. Very convenient if you dont want to go by yourself. Our guide Miyuki and her assistant were very good making sure we followed the schedule and always had plenty of time to visit and learn about each place we visited. With a guide you go directly "to the right place" without wasting time. The okonokiyaki lunch was really good and was in a place that would not be easily found by a tourist. Very good deal and excellent tour. The history and beautiful views are worth your money.

Hiro, our tour guide was very sweet and informative! Our tour got upgraded to include lunch (Japanese pancake) for free due to logistical reasons. Hiro provided good information about the Atomic Dome, monuments in the area, and led at a good pace for adults with disabilities to keep up most of the time. Bring water as a token of remeberance. Bring tissues for the museum. Details are not spared. More time is needed on high traffic days. I was only able to get about half way through on a weekend before the time was up. The temple is MASSIVE (one floor, spread out over a wide area) and beautiful! We were there at low tide unfortunately so didn't get the iconic pictures of the tori gate. Lots of shopping in this area! I definately suggest the maple leaf snacks, I liked them all. I will need to come back and stay on the island at least 24hrs to see everything I wanted to see. Also... Deer! Not sure how I missed that, but they are there and friendly unless you have food they want.

This is a tour by public transportation and the group is kept very small. we only have three members on the tour. The guide Isabella is very clear in her explanation. She has lots of positive energy.

We loved the tour and even the order of the tour was perfectly planned out. Should be mentioned, the tour guide does not know perfect english but has the ability and made the effort to communicate properly at all times, very talkative and extremely friendly. Knows all the facts and curiosities around the place and was happy to answer any questions. Kept making stops to hydrate and go to the restroom.

My Husband and I booked this tour as part of our Honeymoon. I am so glad we booked the Private Tour for Hiroshima. Our guide was Aya and we could not have asked for anyone better. She reached out to us once we booked to confirm details and check if there was any sights we were particularly interested in, as well as any dietary requirements. We were happy to take any of Aya’s recommendations for our day tour. From the moment we met her, we could feel her warmth and kindess and we knew we were going to have a great day. It was so special to have a tour with someone born, raised and still living in Hiroshima. Aya was very knowledgeable and always checking in on how we were throughout the day. There is a lot of walking, but it was made easier with Aya poining out lots of interesting facts along the way. She also took us around some spots on Miyajima Island that were less crowded, without missing any of the highlights. I cannot recommend this private tour enough.

Booking this tour was seamless. The host will confirm right after the booking is made and they don't make one tour crowded 1-4 persons. The Miyajima walking tour was an incredible blend of history and natural beauty. Every step revealed something fascinating, from the famous Torii Gate to the ancient temples surrounded by stunning scenery. What made it special was how the host personalized it for me, making sure I got to see what interested me the most. It was flexible, allowing me to take my time at each spot and really soak in the experience. This tour didn't just show me Miyajima; it made me feel connected to its stories and landscapes, leaving me with unforgettable memories.

Unfortunately, I am the lone member of the tour group. But the tour was scheduled correctly and didn't cancel for me. The guide is really kind and considerate. We want to thank Kensuke for an amazing day on the Hiroshima tour. His knowledge and warmth made our 1/2 day walking tour of Hiroshima a pleasure. He was kind and thoughtful to our varied age group and family dynamics. The tour of the gardens and the photos he took will be treasured. The peace memorial and museum gives many pause I am sure. We were very fortunate as a family of four to have Ken guide us only. It made for a great tour and easy for us to hear the information he shared.
