We were from NY and this trip was definitely worth the purchase. It eats up an entire day with the long travel to and from DC, but seeing these monumental sites is definitely a must! worth the trip!

Although the White House was under construction and not very visible, I was glad we were able to visit many tourist spots efficiently.

The weather was incredibly hot, and without our tour, we simply wouldn't have been able to visit all the places ourselves. The instructions were clear, the car was nice, and the guides were friendly.

Buy your ticket in advance. You can wait for and board the bus at any stop (look for the small sign with the stop number on a pole by the roadside). You can get off and explore at any stop you like, which is very convenient. At some stops, you can pick up a physical map. If someone checks your ticket, just show them your QR code. After they give you a sticker to wear, you won't be checked again.

Must-See Places on the National Mall

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

Wandering through the National Mall? Don't skip the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. It's like stepping into four outdoor "rooms," each showing a part of FDR's time as president. You'll see moments from the Great Depression and World War II, all while being surrounded by the Tidal Basin's beautiful cherry blossoms. This spot is perfect for learning history and enjoying nature

Korean War Veterans Memorial

This memorial stands in honor of those who served in the Korean War. It has 19 steel soldier statues, which look like they're on patrol. When these figures reflect off the black granite wall, they symbolize the 38th parallel, the border between North and South Korea. Nearby, you can see images of over 2,400 servicemen and women on the Mural Wall. This is a touching place to remember the courage and sacrifice of these veterans.

Thomas Jefferson Memorial

The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a grand monument dedicated to the third president of the United States. It stands proudly on the Washington D.C. Mall, close to the beautiful Tidal Basin. Every year, it hosts exciting events, like the famous National Cherry Blossom Festival, which is all about celebrating the start of spring. Inside the memorial, you can read powerful quotes from Jefferson's famous writings that reflect his beliefs in democracy. The amazing views and peaceful setting make it a must-visit spot when you're exploring the National Mall.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

Come see the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial to honor this famous civil rights leader. There is a grand statue of Dr. King carved from the "Stone of Hope," surrounded by some of his powerful quotes. Located by the Tidal Basin, this memorial is a strong reminder of the ongoing fight for equality and justice in the U.S.

Washington Monument

The Washington Monument is a famous tall obelisk that honors George Washington, America's first president. It's the tallest stone structure in the world. You can go to the top to catch amazing views of Washington D.C. through its windows, offering a breathtaking look at the capital.

Lincoln Memorial

Visit the Lincoln Memorial to admire the legacy of Abraham Lincoln, America's 16th president. The neoclassical monument features a 19-foot statue of Lincoln watching over the Reflecting Pool with a calm expression. It's a symbol of unity in the nation and gives visitors a memorable view of the Washington Monument.

National Museum of Natural History

Curious about our planet? Check out the National Museum of Natural History. It's one of the Smithsonian's treasures on the National Mall. From sparkling gems to dinosaur fossils, this place offers an exciting gateway to the wonders of nature. The museum's exhibits are hands-on, drawing you into learning more about science and the natural world.

National Air and Space Museum

The National Air and Space Museum is a must-see for those interested in flight and space adventure.
