We love this place so much. The staff and the owner Kobayashi-san is very welcoming and friendly. The view of Mt. Fuji is amazing and we love the hotel's public bath and the roof deck. You can borrow yukata to enjoy the bath. They have a restaurant but only have minimum menu, if you prefer to have food option late at night better bring your own, as there is store nearby that are open late. 100% recommend.

Amazing Mt. Fuji view – worth the stay I had a wonderful stay at The Gran Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko. The highlight is definitely the clear and stunning view of Mount Fuji — you can see Fujisan directly from the room, and waking up to this view was unforgettable. If the weather is clear, the scenery is absolutely perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, much bigger than typical Japanese hotels. The peaceful environment made it very relaxing and the onsen was a great bonus after a day of sightseeing. The location is quiet and ideal for enjoying nature. Although it’s a bit away from the station, it was rather easy to get there because we rented a car and drove on our own. Staff were polite and helpful during our stay. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for travelers who want a beautiful Mt. Fuji view and a calm, comfortable stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Shoji Lake Hotel. The hotel has a beautiful traditional Japanese atmosphere, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and welcoming. They were humble, patient, and truly caring. They tried their best to translate Japanese into my language. It showed their genuine hospitality. They even helped us take photos with Mount Fuji which we truly appreciated. They warmly said goodbye to us until the very end, which made us feel truly cared for. ❤️

the best experience ever, I was travelling with my 2 year old little boy, and I had a lot of support from staffs from hotel! if you have kids or baby, 100% recommend it, I will visit this hotel anothet time !

Beautiful view, but a bit far from restaurants. The bed was soft and comfortable. The room was a good size, but it rained so I couldn't see Mount Fuji.

Compared to the bustling streets of Kawaguchiko, Lake Shojiko is a great place for travelers who love peace and nature to spend the night, and it is worth recommending.
