Beijing Zoo tours

Traveling to China with my 8-year-old twins was an incredible experience, and Ms. Sherry made it even better. She made every stop fun and engaging for the girls while sharing fascinating historical and cultural insights with me. She was flexible, happy to go at our pace, and even taught the girls some Mandarin. Since it was only our second day in China, we were still finding our way. Ms. Sherry helped us navigate, understand the culture, and feel comfortable in a new country. She also took wonderful family photos that we will always treasure. If you are visiting China, especially with children, I highly recommend Ms. Sherry. She is knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about helping visitors experience her world.

Just returned from a half day trip to see the pandas in Beijing Zoo and then the summer palace. Both May (our guide) and our driver were exceptional. We went as a family of four and May pitched the delivery perfectly to balance both the needs of the children and adults in the group. We opted to add the boat ride at Kunming Lake and it was a great decision, would highly recommend. I wouldn’t hesitate booking any other experience with May again!

This is a great tour to book to see other sights of Beijing. Our guide, Sherry was very accomodating and helpful. She even added new items to the itinerary when we were ahead of schedule and the lunch place she took us to was really good. The peking duck was incredible at this place. Great time overall.

Really enjoyed the whole tour experience, as our guide Allen was super cheerful despite us having to go through the tour on one of the hotter days in Beijing. Gotten really nice pictures and recommendations in the Forbidden City as well. Side note, please come well prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, cap/umbrella if you’re intending to do this tour during summer months as you’d spend at least 30 minutes going through the security check under the sun.

The guide, Linda, was organized and constantly aware of not losing the group, giving us enough time for the entire group to arrive at each stop before offering her recounting on the significance of each building, relic or historical artifact. She spoke clearly and coherently, adding a touch of humour, always with a smile. The tour was well paced, not too hectic, despite the scale and depth of what was covered. Definitely worth your money!

Very good experience, efficient service, good quality bus and lovely tour guide. Helen was very helpful and nice. The tour covered good explorations and included all the tickets. Convenient and save all the troubles. The ground was not too big and everyone was nice.

We had a fantastic tour visiting the Temple of Heaven, Prince Gong Residence, and other spots. The tour is conducted entirely in Chinese. Our tour guide, Shu Lei, was exceptional throughout the entire day. ​He is extremely knowledgeable about the history and cultural significance of every site we visited, offering rich stories and context that made the history truly come alive. Beyond his deep expertise, Shu Lei was incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and caring towards the elderly members of our group. He maintained a comfortable, considerate pace and made sure everyone felt safe, well taken care of, and included at every step. ​Everything was smooth, well-organized, and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend booking a tour with Shu Lei if you want an informative, seamless, and warm experience!

Wonderful experience! I warmly recommend this tour. Jessie was amazing! A wealth of knowledge, interesting, funny, and witty. She shared lots of fascinating tidbits and fun facts, not only about the Summer Palace but also about Chinese culture as a whole. She was very calm and never in a hurry, allowing us to enjoy the tour to the fullest. Her English was perfect, and she was very enjoyable company. If you’re planning a tour here, ask for her, believe me (I tried more guided tours here in china), it’s totally worth it!!

Our tour guide Jimmy was really friendly and he speaks good English too. He's really knowledgeable about not just the history of the Forbidden City, but also China's history. We really enjoyed the tour, Jimmy made it so much more insightful and interesting as compared to if we were to go on our own. He also helps us to take really nice photos too!~ Highly recommend Jimmy as a guide.
