Woohee was our tour guide and she was absolutely lovely and knowledgeable. Thanks to the tour we were able to get inside the distillery. Usually in order to secure such tickets, you need to enter a lottery two months in advance, meaning there's no guarantee. The museum is also very nice to visit, even if you are not an art fan.

The Yamazaki Whisky Museum & Asahi Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art Half-Day Whiskey Tour was absolutely phenomenal! The directions to the meeting point were clear and easy, right outside Yamazaki Station (Main Exit), just a short walk from the distillery. Our guide was already there waiting, super friendly and welcoming, and even offered us bottled water and later-on a gift bag, which was such a thoughtful touch. The tour itself was incredible. We learned so much about the history and craftsmanship behind Yamazaki whisky, explored the beautiful Whisky Museum, and enjoyed an amazing tasting session. The visit to the Oyamazaki Asahi Villa Museum of Art was a perfect addition, stunning views, peaceful gardens, and fascinating art. Our guide made the whole experience fun, informative, and seamless from start to finish. Even help helped our trip back shorter and pointed us to the express train. If you love whisky or Japanese culture, this tour is a must-do! 🥃✨

The guide was very friendly and explained everything in great detail, speaking very good English! She made the already incredible experience of visiting the asahi museum and the yamazaki distillery that much more enjoyable, taking the group on a walk around the beautiful area in-between the 2 tours.

Tour Guide: The tour guide was already waiting for us at Oyamazaki Station, very punctual, with excellent service and a very detailed introduction! I really like this tour guide🫶🏻 Itinerary Arrangement: Requires hiking mountain roads, a bit hot, but overall a very worthwhile trip!

It was a wonderful experience! After learning almost all the knowledge about the factory, I was able to feel the passion of the Yamazaki craftsmen with both my tongue and my heart. Our guide, Sachiko, was very kind and intelligent, and the Yamazaki staff also shared a lot of knowledge with us. Thank you so much on such a hot day. I will definitely participate again if I have the opportunity!

I was able to see the guide on time at Yamazaki Station and handed out a bottle of drink. The Asahi Museum of Art was able to make a modern house like this about 100 years ago, and it was good to see art. The best thing was the Yamazaki Distillery Tour, which was good for explaining and giving me gifts.

The tour guide is very attentive. Most office workers cannot cooperate with the lottery at all, so they just pay the fee to participate in this. The overall itinerary is to go to the art gallery first, and then go to the whiskey factory. This itinerary includes a whiskey tasting course, and you can also buy wine limited to the distillery after the class👍👍
