Things to do in Takashima

This activity is a blast and something everyone should give a shot on your first or second day. Big shoutout to our tour guide, Andy, for the good insights about local culture and life here! He took us to some really cool spots and shared fun stories about the area’s history and also very proactive help everyone to take a good solo or group photos. This tour is perfect for solo travelers or families looking to explore together, especially if you didn’t book anything similar on your first visit to the city.

Great day trip - make sure you take the time to scope out where to meet. if you give yourself enough time to find the group sightseeing tours bus stop (in front of Kyoto Avanti and across the road from Kyoto Station) you’ll be fine.

Sanzen-in Temple + Shirasu Shrine + Ukimido Temple, a one-day tour of La Collina, completed in a joyful atmosphere. Overall very good, although it rained, being able to see the autumn leaves made it worth the ticket price. At La Collina, the tour guide Casper strongly recommended the No. 1 Baumkuchen, saving us a lot of time so we could take pictures. In summary, our tour guide Casper was very enthusiastic and responsible, a great tour guide, highly recommended!!

I booked this tour two days before departure and had a great experience. Our driver and guide, Nicklee, was very responsible and attentive. He picked us up and dropped us off, and also explained the local Japanese culture and tourist attractions along the way. He was kind and friendly, thoughtfully provided water, and took care of everyone.

There are 10 groups of guests, so we arranged for a large bus. Our tour guide, Zhao, was the only one out of the 3 tours I took during my entire trip to Japan who would proactively WhatsApp the pick-up time in advance. The drive to Shiga is quite long, so those staying in Osaka should be prepared for a round trip of almost 6 hours.

We joined the self-guided tour from Kyoto, and the whole experience was good. It was very easy to locate the meeting point, and our guide, Richard, contacted us the night before to remind us about the pick-up location, which was really helpful. Even though the tour was self-guided, his friendly attitude and clear explanations made everything smooth and easy to follow. Highly recommended!

Hakodateyama Ski Resort offers a relaxed skiing experience with scenic views of the city and ocean. The slopes are beginner-friendly, well-maintained, not too crowded, and easy to access from Hakodate, with convenient rentals and helpful staff.

We were guided by the lovely Ms Vivian. She msged us the day before and gave clear instructions. through out the journey she was very prompt, informative, friendly and made sure we got all we require as per the package to ensure a memorable experience. we truly had fun and happy wt the package offered and the services rendered by Ms Vivian. Highly recommend! For Muslim travellers pls pack up some food for this trip as available food are not halal and you can only order drinks.
